I thought about going for Atlético or a draw. I believed that the match would end in a 0-0 or 1-1 draw. But I didn't imagine that Flamengo would be decisive enough to win outright. But congratulations to them, it was a well-deserved title and both teams are good, but one was more decisive than the other.

Flamengo has opened up a considerable lead, and the only way to change this score is if Atletico-MG manages to apply pressure and score a goal early in the game. Otherwise, Flamengo just needs to manage the result and they will be champions.

Much of my analysis is based on statistics, from the last games, the number of goals scored at home and away, the number of goals conceded when playing at home and away, head-to-head matches, how many goals scored in head-to-head matches, etc.

There are many statistics that I always like to look at to base my decisions on. Then I just give weight to each category and in the end I arrive at a percentage for each thing. I like to bet when the championship is already "mature" and that way I can already know the ability of each team. This has been working out well, and I hope it continues for a while longer.

it's crazy how games should be independent but in reality they have some effects from past games
like, if a team wins a lot they can have a confidence boost and this helps them to keep the win streak

It could be, for me Flamengo's biggest adversary is Flamengo itself, dealing with EGO and power can sometimes be complicated. As the club has everything up to date, cash in hand, power of persuasion and the stadium project, the club may have the feeling that everything will be easy, but it is an illusion, the other teams are structuring themselves too and whoever settles will be left behind, as was the case with São Paulo, which was a powerhouse and is now a supporting actor.

I agree about Fortaleza. They have always been mid/low table teams. I myself did not believe it, but today I bet almost blindly on them. They have really become better under their coach and this improvement has been going on for years.

Surprises me most about Fortaleza is that in 2017 the club was in the third division of the Brazilian championship, that is, practically at rock bottom and the club's rise is quite an impressive feat... would it be good management?
