It was the Bitcointalk forum that inspired us to create Bitcointalksearch.org - Bitcointalk is an excellent site that should be the default page for anybody dealing in cryptocurrency, since it is a virtual gold-mine of data. However, our experience and user feedback led us create our site; Bitcointalk's search is slow, and difficult to get the results you need, because you need to log in first to find anything useful - furthermore, there are rate limiters for their search functionality.
The aim of our project is to create a faster website that yields more results and faster without having to create an account and eliminate the need to log in - your personal data, therefore, will never be in jeopardy since we are not asking for any of your data and you don't need to provide them to use our site with all of its capabilities.
We created this website with the sole purpose of users being able to search quickly and efficiently in the field of cryptocurrency so they will have access to the latest and most accurate information and thereby assisting the crypto-community at large.

sMerit Senders for the Indonesian local board during January 2024 can be seen here if anyone is interested:
https://public.tableau.com/shared/QK5K7Q4S4?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link There are, as Rikafip mentioned, a set of external Merit Sources that contributed meaningfully to the overall number, some of which are easily spottable on the chart as point in time contributors. The overall number of received sMerits is roughly aligned with figures awarded on average over the past few months: https://public.tableau.com/shared/4D9SW6C6M?:display_count=n&:origin=viz_share_link This running month though is pointing insofar at finishing well below though in terms of awarded Merits. Nigeria board is in a long sprint! 2nd place! Congrats! I woulnd't be surporised to see them at the top in the near future. Anyway, overview has been updated with your animated chart.I am somewhat surprised by the overall decrease in activity and posting in January compared to December. December is usually a time for holidays and time spent away from work and home. It turns out we were being a bit lazy. I wonder how much of an affect on the stats the new rule change had? I think a significant one. Since total number of posts in local boards decreased only 5% compared to month before, its hard to say whether that was just a coincidence or mixer ban indeed had the influence. I don't know whether its just my lack of inspiration, but its harder for me to find interesting conversations lately in the English part of the forum. Wow! They had a big help from the external merit sources, therefore those numbers. Indonesian board taking the lead in local board is a big thing. I guess of course the inactivity of a very active Merit source as Ratimov had a important role in this, even if next month we will see something similar in the Indonesian board, as o_e_l_e_o left the forum as well. If you check Russian merit numbers previous year, you will see that they didn't have much higher numbers when he was active, and sometimes even lower than now. Then again, I don't know when exactly he stopped sharing merit he got as a merit source. February 26, 2024, 11:42:20 AM

Since months is almost over, I think its time to finally publish the January's (not so brief anymore) monthly overview. Apologies for delay but as always it was caused by the combination of my laziness and having shit load of work. As always, all charts and table are made using data from @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space which I suggest to check if you want more in depth overview of your local board. Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards. Race updated! https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/12312077/ Nigeria board is in a long sprint! 2nd place! Congrats! February 26, 2024, 06:28:25 AM

Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards. Post activity per local board during January 2024 During the previous month 21413 posts were made across 18 local boards that are part of this overview, which is a slight decrease compared to December's numbers (22544). Majority of that decerase happened of Russian and Pilipinas board, while rest of it has been divided across several others. Despite the decrease, Russian board remained by far the most active while Nigerian finally reached 2nd position due their big increase compared to month before (2708 - 3255) and I expect their numbers to keep growirng, while Turkish board ended up being 3rd. Local Board post race Animated local board post race chart, courtesy of bitmover Active members per local board January 2024 Despite the decrease of number of posts, active numbers increased; from 1526 in December to 1589 during last month. Once again Russian board is the leader in this chart as well, followed by Nigerian and Indonesian local boards while German at 4th and Turkish at 5th place are left behind. While majority of other local board either had the same number of active members of even slight decrease, those two local boards ( Indonesian and Nigerian) keep growing month after month and those are their highest numbers yet. Well, at least since I am making these overviews. Local board members per amount of posts during January 2024 When it comes to the members who wrote only 1 post, Romanian board is the leader with 78% of such members, followed by Greek (67%) and Indian (52%) local boards. At the same time, Nigerian had the lowest percentage of such members (11%), while Pakistan was close with 12 % and Pilipinas with 17%. In the 2-9 posts bracket leader is Russian board with 44%, followed closely by Indonesian (43%) and French (42%) local boards. At the bottom there is Romanian local board with 11%, followed by Polish (22%) and Portuguese (23%) local boards. Regarding the 10+ posts bracket, Pakistan local board is the leader with 51% of such members, while Nigerian and Portuguese local boards are not that far away with 49%. At the same time, Greek board had no members in that bracket(which is not a surprise considering their post number), while Romanian had 11% and French 22% of those members. Merit shared per local board during January 2024 Despite the (small) decrease of the amount of posts, number of merit shared went up compared to December; during January 8765 merit was shared across the local boards that are part of this overview which is a slight increase compared to previous month's numbers (8455). For the first time (afaik), Indonesian board is at the top of this chart with 1765 merit shared, narrowly beating the usual leader Russian that had 1763 merit shared during January. Far behind those two are Nigerian, Turkish and German local boards. At the bottom we see the usual names, with the Greek board missing as they didn't share any merit during January. Merit/Post ratio per local board during January 2024 When it comes to merit/post ratio, Romanian board is once again at the top with a huge 1.81 merit/post ratio (just to note that the less active boards tend to have such extreme ratios), followed by (again)_ Arabic board with alos a big 1.25 m/p ratio and Spanish local board at the 3rd spot with also impressive 0.94 m/p ratio. Once again the usual names are at the bottom, Ppilipinas once again sticking out) with Greek board missing due obvious reason (no merit sent during last month). Merit senders and receivers per local board during January 2024 During above mentioned period, 616 members in the local boards sent at least 1 merit, while 645 received, which is a solid increase compared to month before (519 senders and 578 merit receivers). Just to note that charts are sorted according to the amount of merit shared while Pakistan and Bangladesh boards are missing since I don't have that info about communities without local board. Percentage of merited posts across local boards during January 2024 Due their very high merit/post ratio and low amount of posts, no surprise that Romanian board is far ahead in this chart, with an incredible 64% of posts getting merit, while far behind them are Spanish and Arabic local boards with more reasonable percentages. At the same time, Turkish and Pilipinas board remained at the bottom where Geeek would probably be too if they managed to send at least 1 merit during last month. Merit per transaction across local boards during January 2024 And the last in this series of charts, merit per transaction. Despite the Romanian board leading the merit/post ratio chart, in this one Arabic is on the top with and avreage of more than 3 merit sent per transaction, followed by French and Romanian local boards. At the same time, Indonesian (leader in the merit sent chart) sends only 1.23 merit per tx, on average. The most active members per local board during January 2024 Last but not the least in this overview, list of top 10 members across 18 local boards and thanks to whom their local boards are alive and kicking. This month we have a big change at the top since the usual name (joker_josue) is not even in the top 3, which went to three members from Turkish local board: ZekiBeyy [268], totti67 [261] and verbakalim [261]. Congrats guys,a nd lets see if the usual champion takes back his first spot! But I don't know whether this condition will have a big impact on the local board or not I don't see why it should as from what I can see most of the campaigns count local board posts towards weekly quota. Here you go! My updated locals race image! Cheers, overview has been updated! Here you go! My updated locals race image! Link to the race: https://public.flourish.studio/visualisation/12312077/
I appeared there again, this time in 7th place on the Portuguese local board. This month of December was really good, I was on vacation and I thought I hadn't participated as much. Next month I will try to improve my ranking a little, the difficult part is maintaining the consistency of writing quality things. It's very challenging.
Congratulations @joker_josue for top 1 on our local board. <…> What will also be interesting to see is how January 2024 behaves once the month is over, bearing in mind the readjustments in campaigns/participants that have taken place after the ban on mixer campaigns, which might lead to seeing some changes in the information shown. That’s something you’re already looking at and commenting in the monthly update, so let’s see if anything worth highlighting comes up with the next update.I'm sure there will be many changes in posting behavior in the January report, I've started to notice this since the first week of January: Changes Discussion Behavior in Forum. But that's normal because most gambling campaigns require posting in certain threads. But I don't know whether this condition will have a big impact on the local board or not I do somehow feel that its harder to find interesting topics lately but I don't know is it just me and I am less interested in forum at the moment or there's an actual change. Maybe you need to gamble to find a topic that is interesting enough... lol And in the end of this month's overview, top 10 most active members per local board. After a long time, we have a new the most active member BVeyron who wrote 258 posts in Russian local board and who narrowly beat usual name at the top, joker_josue from Portuguese local board who wrote 255 posts and at the 3rd spot is another member from Russian local, The0ldl_lser who wrote 238 posts. Kudos guys, keep it up! Well, I just had to make 4 more posts and keep first place. I think December was actually a good month. The month of January is also being interesting, we will see the final results. What will also be interesting to see is how January 2024 behaves once the month is over, bearing in mind the readjustments in campaigns/participants that have taken place after the ban on mixer campaigns, which might lead to seeing some changes in the information shown. That’s something you’re already looking at and commenting in the monthly update, so let’s see if anything worth highlighting comes up with the next update. Since majority of those who were in mixer signature campaigns found their spots elsewhere I don't expect a big decrease. Having said that, I do somehow feel that its harder to find interesting topics lately but I don't know is it just me and I am less interested in forum at the moment or there's an actual change. Note: Spanish Local board active member list seems to have been left blank for December 2023. You see, this is what happens when I rush with these overviews. Anyway, thanks for letting me know, its been sorted now. <…> What will also be interesting to see is how January 2024 behaves once the month is over, bearing in mind the readjustments in campaigns/participants that have taken place after the ban on mixer campaigns, which might lead to seeing some changes in the information shown. I probably should have released this overview before the yearly one, but it is what it is now, next time I'll do it like that. Either way, just before end of the month overview is here and as usual it was made using data provided by @DdmrDdmr Merit Dashboard and @TryNinja Ninjastic.space which I suggest to check if you want more in depth overview of the each local board.
Communities marked with * (Pakistan, Bangladesh) don't have their own local boards but that's something I hope will change this year. Post activity per local board during December 2023 During December 22544 posts were written across 18 local boards that are part of the overview, which is a small decrease (~6%) compared to the month before (23958). As usual, Russian board ha sbeen by far the most active one and once again going over 6k mark (this feat is even more impressive considering the fact that they have to use VPN in order to access bitcointalk), followed by Turkish and Nigerian local boards while Portuguese and German close the top 5. On the other side, Romanian, Greek and Polish local boards remain and the bottom and far away from the next closest local board, in this month Arabic. Speaking of change in activity, majority of local boards remained pretty similar to previous month (generally a bit fewer posts) with only French local board having more significant drop of ~40% (from 512 to 312). Local boards post race Courtesy of bitmover Active members per local board during December 2023 In the previous month 1526 local board members wrote at least 1 post which is very similar to November's numbers (1531). Naturally, Russian board is leader in this chart as well, with Nigerian board at the 2nd and Indonesian local board at the 3rd place while at the other side standard names are at the bottom of the chart. Local board members per amount of posts during December 2023 In the "1 post" bracket, Greek board is leader with 50% of members writing only 1 post, followed by Arabic (48%) and Polish (46%) local boards. At the same time, Indonesian board has only 12% of such members, while Nigerian has 15% and Pilipinas with 17%. Regarding 2-9 posts bracket, Pilipinas board is the leader with 44%, followed closely by German (43%) and Greek (42%). On the other side, Arabic has only 19% of such members, followed by Croatian and Romanian boards with 20% each. When it comes to 10+ posts bracket, Polish board is the leader with 54%, followed by Pakistan (50%) and Croatian (48%) local boards. Likewise, Greek local board has only 8% of such members, Spanish has 24%) and French with 26%. Merit shared per local board during December 2023 During above mentioned period 7916 merit was shared across local boards which is a small decrease (~5%) compared to November which makes sense as number of posts decreased in the similar percentage. Leader is once again Russian local board with 1787 merit which is not a surprise given their post number, while Indonesian board is not that far ahead with 1459 merit while Nigerian board was at 3rd (1273). At the bottom is Greek board with only 1 merit shared, while other standard names are there as well. Merit/Post ratio per local board during December 2023 Regarding the merit/post chart, Romanian board is at the top with 1.16, while Arabic is at the 2nd spot and had 1.1 and Spanish at 3rd with 0.97. When it comes to the botton, no surprise to see Greek there since they shared only 1 merit in the above mentioned period while several others like Indian, Pilipinas and Turkish are imho undemerited as well. Merit senders and receivers per local board during December 2023 During December 519 members sent merit in one of the local boards while 578 members received merit which is again not too far away from November's numbers (537/591). Boards are arranged based on the amount of merit shared and the one that once again sticks out is Pilipinas board which is in my opinion the most undermerited board among the more active ones and that goes for quite some time. Percentage of merited posts across local boards during December 2023 Like in the November, Romanian board is once again at the top with 50% of the posts being merited which is a very high percentage, but something like that is possible only for less active boards. Spanish board is second with also very high 40% and Polish local board with 34%. Onc again Greek is at the bottom with only 2% posts getting merited (to be more specific only 1 post) and Pilipinas and Turkish also having very low percentage of merited posts. Merit per transaction across local boards during December 2023 And last in this series of charts, merit per transaction chart that gives as a little bit more info on each board's merit sharing habits, and no surprise that boards with highest merit per post ratio also has usually high merit per transaction ratio. The most active members per local board during December 2023 And in the end of this month's overview, top 10 most active members per local board. Jump to:
