Is it possible to make ETH+ZEC or ZEC+SIA for example?

Today I tried existing miners, I don't like their stability and speed.
Ok, I will release first version of my ZCash miner very soon. AMD only.

Linuxxxx  Huh Huh Huh Huh

I hope windows because all zec miners on linux are not stable

Great! Thanks claymore. Btw can anyone give us more info about the profitability of zcash cuz the price is moving alot.

We definitely need a proper miner. I do not understand the ZCash use the new algorithm and it is very fast on CPU.

Good news, and thanks Claymore ... So far on Win7 I can only get the Nicehash miner to work out of all the current offerings. The rig has 4 Nitro RX470 cards, but using more than 3 just crashes the rig.

Does anybody knows how to fix the following problem:
While the Claymore miner is trying to create/mount the DAG file on one of my cards (R7 370), driver crashes every time. I have noticed in GPU-Z that on this particular, the card memory usage of 17XX MB is not on Dedicated part, but on Dynamic. And may be this is the problem - but I don't know how to fix it. Do you think that simple reinstall of drivers (15.12) would help? Or else?
Thanks.

Nobody?

Isn't ZCASH ASICS and GPU resistant? My old 1st gen i7 does as well as an RX470, I think it's normal.

I have discontinued using all ZEC miners available out there - none of them are reliable and seems coded in a rush; many still have bugs and serious timeouts... wasted many hours of my GPU cycles.

Maybe, many of us are just too comfortable with the level of quality and maturity of your existing Dual Miner and also Cryptonight miner; none of the current ZEC miners out there can even come close.

Please do get the miner out soonest!

Hello,

I'm new to mining and after trying for several weeks on windows 10, using claymore's and various other miners, I gave up as the hash rate was so low. I had heard that Linux is the way to go so I installed Ubuntu 16.04, updated everything and installed java8 jdk, cuda 8.0 and sdk (not sure if I need sdk but having read that others had it installed, I did so thinking it was/is necessary), as well as the latest Nvidia drivers. After having configured the text files, the same way I did on windows, so I know the information I entered is correct, I proceeded to type "sudo start start.bash".

The command prompt opens and I get a "connection refused" error message. It works fine on windows yet I can't get it to run on Linux, I am at a loss of knowledge in terms of commands to enter to get the program to run. Could someone please explain to me how I'm able to run the program using Ubuntu 16.04? Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've checked out so many forums and endless google searches have come up with nothing that can solve my problem.

My setup:
- i7-6700k.
- Gtx 980ti.
- 32GB ddr4 3000mhz.
- Asus Maximus Gene viii.
- Samsung 950 & 850 pro.

P.s. I use my system for gaming mostly, yet it would be great to get the mining software up and running so that I can then invest in a six card rig and turn things up a notch. I could easily use Windows 7 but I would prefer to use Linux as I have gone through a lot of trouble setting it up and I'm quite enjoying learning the ropes with this new Os. What commands do i need to type to get the program started? I can't find a guide with it written anywhere, thanks in advance for your replies. I'll be starting with ETH and then add Sia later.
