If you really thinking of putting in good investment you need to read white paper.  Not that it will save you from investing in bad project but it can leave you with a choice to invest or not to. White paper is not a guarantee a project will excel .

Let be real. How many of you guys actually read the whitepaper? I read whitepaper sometimes, but reading multiple of them can be a burden and a headache. Do you guys got any tips on getting through whitepaper a little faster. It killing a lot of time. Thank.

Why would you skip the whitepaper? It is one of the most important literature to read when investing in an ICO or even in a bounty campaign you're about to partake in. If you don't, you are a lost cause. You blindly follow a company that you don't even know what they're selling or offering.

I do not read whitepaper any more because many whitepapers are only cheaply copied. I do not buy ico anymore. I only buy when the token is on the first exchange. then I buy cheap from the bounty people. that is much safer and then the projct is already started

Lol.
When the project is extra hyped, i am not reading the whitepaper, only the yellowpaper or the onepager, that is the only information that most of us need to put some dollars into that project. But when it is a low hype, i read the whitepaper

I read the white paper to understand how the token will be used and how it will generate a value that will increase over time. I read every document? No, of course not. I'll explore how 20 new cryptographic companies a day and many IKO's, and it takes too much time.

Life is too short to read all whitepapers out there, even more since some of them have the size of a book. However, if you plan to invest in any project and you DON'T read the whitepaper and then you end up losing your moment, well, then it's your fault only. From a whitepaper you can learn MANY things about the quality of a project.

It is very important to study the White paper of the project. The white paper should reveal the essence of the project, from the General idea to the technical details. A good sign - the presence in the White paper of the code or reference to the repository and technical details of the project. A bad sign is the blurring of the language or the apparent abuse of terminology, which is often tried to hide the lack of meaning.

Maybe yes because if I know if we want to invest in ICO project we can see the white paper and its implementing team if good we will be able to get profit if we are less careful you are hit by a scam project and so we can know good or not

On a brand new project of course I read the roadmap as well,  if I'm going to invest I do my research!!! I see what goals they set and what goals have been accomplished,

My answer depends on how big I am going to invest in the project. If your investing, I think necessary to carefully check all the aspects of the projects. But if your only checking out the project, aside from the summary of the platform, I right away check the track record of the teams involved in it.
But I you have little time to lose, just try checking review sites about the project, they'll do the checking for you.

If you invest-you need to be sure to study. For bounty companies-I think it is not necessary. The rest is up to you.

I am usually not reading anything like whitepaper because i used to trust people. And i'm always wondering because i have never been scammed since from 2013.

To be honest, this happens very rarely, I am sure that today many people do not understand and less part of what is written there, because the white paper was written only so that it simply was, probably this is a bad sign.

Generally speaking, I will read the white paper, but most of the white papers look boring. So more often, I'll look at the official video to know what the ICO project wants to do, and then go to gtihub to see if the code is open source.

Yep, it's really a burden but it's very important to know how the project works and by looking to their roadmap you'll know their goals and plans and you'll know more deeper on what's inside the project.

To me reading whitepapers before investing in any ICO is a must. If you really want to get a decent profit, if you want your investment to be worth it, you should read the whitepaper to get a clear understanding of their project, its purpose and many more. You should also consider the roadmap, and the website. On their website, you can see a summarized information of their project. Read the whitepaper, it can be really useful in determining a good ICO.

If I am parting with my money, of course I read the white paper. Personally,  I would not randomly throw hard-earned money on a coin if I didn't do my research. Else it would be a form of gambling. Yes, they can be long. Some can be hard work to get through, but some ICO's present a light paper given you the soundbites of what the project is about.

I would never advise anyone to invest without reading the white paper first.

Reading whitepaper is really very much important. It helps us to know properly about an ICO. I always read whitepaper before starting to work with an ICO. Reading whitepaper really helps me to understand the project. I think everyone should read the whitepaper carefully in order to understand the ICO and their roadmap. But it is true that, people do not really read whitepaper much. Only 50% people read the whitepaper.
