In Japan, the government recognized bitcoin as a means of payment. This gave bitcoin even more credibility. And this could also lead to an increase in its price. I firmly believe that there is a future for crypto-currencies.

I agree partly with you - if people wouldn't want to become rich from investing in cryptocurrencies there wouldn't be so many scams.
Good thing in desire for getting rich is that is attracts a lot of people. So blockchain and cryprocurrency technology will progress much faster in short period of time, because those people invest their money, time and energy in it.

Crypto as currency and blockchain as technology is 2 different pairs of shoes. Blockchain is superior technology hence unstoppable. But do not worry, the banks have infiltrated the market for cheap already using Ripple (no proof of work and not open/decentralized) as a vehicle to get cheap BTC ETH NEO BCH. There is already enough vested interest from institutional side that the current setback will be very temporary. Next big date 5th of April and if that bull goes on the run around that date it will be May. Brilliant shopping time right now.

The most surprising thing is that they created a system that exists by itself and that no one can influence. No power can take money from the system. No one is forced to trust someone specific. It's enough that you trust blockchain technology. I believe that the future of digital currencies.
