I also love etherium, its had good platform and Vitalik wants to make it better. I think ETH is our future.

In addition to Bitcoin, the crypto I believe the most is Ethereum, as this crypto was released as an update for fixing most of the bugs that Bitcoin has. If Bitcoin is banned by governments in the future, ETH will replace Bitcoin and become the world's most valuable crypto, possibly becoming common currency in the future.

Well, i like Bitcoin and at the same time ethereum which i believe is my alternative to Bitcoin should in case one is choose any other over Bitcoin.  Although There are other good altcoins that has greater future ahead just like ethereum but if am to choose one alternative i will still prefer ethereum over others.

if bitcoin exists then altcoins appear, while bitcoin dies then altcoins disappear. that is the natural law of digital currency. if bitcoin get banned then we cannot choose other altcoins. I don't think that altcoins are still able to stay. however, if it doesn't happen, I prefer to choose ethereum. it is most famous after bitcoin.

I prefer ethereum and litecoin. I also have several altcoins, which I consider very promising. For example, the token is zrx. He has already brought me a profit and I think he will bring more.

In addition to Bitcoin, I prefer to invest in such coins as Ethereum, Neo, ripple, Monero. I also buy tokens when I have interesting ICO projects. The last such project was Kyc Legal.

I do not see any reason why bitcoin will be banned and it it eventually get banned through some regulations, it will definitely affect other altcoins. One thing is, peradventure i have any other option to pick aside bitcoin, i will go for ethereum. If there is any coin that has good competing power with bitcoin, it is ethereum.

After bitcoin, I'll prefer and choose Ethereum has my second coin because of it's blockchain based, many altcoin projects base their blockchain on Ethereum chain will make it's stand out from other altcoin, so if Bitcoin got barn today, ETH will overcome and become the number one project in my opinion.

I love ethereum as well as bitcoin becouse it is bounded with most of alts, and is convertible to them also, so my opinion is that ethereum is still #2 after bitcoin in currencies

If bitcoin is banned , then  ethereum is my next choice.
But if bitcoin even get banned then expect it is going to spell doom for all the altcoins including ethereum which is the queen of cryptocurrency but I believe this thread is just created so you can know people's favorite coin next to btc.

Bitcoin is the number one crypto currency and if it is being I think all coins also. But for me people will do everything to prevent somebody to ban bitcoin. Bitcoin is part of the day to day living of the many and it helps a lot in sustaining everything so it really hurts if it is being ban.

About the regulations? No bitcoin isn't hurt, it's giving additional power to gain popularity.
I don't have any other pick if its choosing after bitcoin. About the ban, bitcoin is widely accepted and if there is a country that will ban it, the usage of bitcoin is only ban for that specific country not for the whole world/community.

I think in that situation it'd be wise to spread your pot over multiple different technologies NEO, Eth, IOTA, etc. Although if Bitcoin went boom at the moment I fear it'd be the end for all crypto for a good few years until faith was restored.

Bitcoin is heart of whole cryptocurrency, if people will ban it, all will be over.
People know this and they will do everything to make it not happen.
So we will not see this fast, i believe it will be never happen

If you want more risk but perhaps better returns then stick to proven long term projects with a proven dev team

I prefer wepower, singularity, universa and some other alts. I also care for ethereum and neo, but those alts are the main bags at this moment. Lets see what they do.

I do love Eth because it really has great usability and awesome smart contracts , in addition it is necessary for launching ICOs and making tokens which will make it an always needed currency and assure it's continuation therefore . It has low fees and very fast confirmation time and is very suitable for  transporting money . I got Eth when it was 100$ per coin and i was sure that time will come for it to shine even tho it can't scale as well as other coins since it doesn't have a limit such as other coins and it's value can't rise well since miners sell their coins as soon as they mine them and don't try to keep holding them so that they'll grow in value.

You do realize that if Bitcoin goes down, pretty much every crypto goes down? Usually, these regulations affect cryptocurrency in general, rather than bitcoin in particular. So don't think you can hold other cryptos to avoid regulation as that simply isn't the case.

That being said, there are quite a few promising coins out there, and a number of great ones developing in the pipeline that could do great in future. For now I'll break down my favorites into established and upcoming (meaning they haven't reached mainstream yet).

Established

Zcash and Monero are my favorite privacy coins, but Bitcoin private seems to be up and coming quite well. Other than that, I like NEO, ADA and XLM for high potential platform coins. I don't like XRP as it's too centralized. People claim NEO is too centralized due to only have 7 validator nodes, but they forget that this number will grow in future, so it's just a temporary teething problem.

Up-coming

Where to start? After doing a lot of research I don't like the potential of DeepOnion, seems to be overhyped, but a lot of people are buying into it, so maybe it might perform well in the short term. I personally believe Zilliqa and NEX have amazing potential if the team can pull off their ambitious road maps. Seriously, looking into Zilliqa and you will see it has incredible potential.

Remember, don't invest too much into low market cap coins, more often than not they will fail to break the $30m mark.

Except for bitcoin, I prefer litecoin and monero, even ripple too. All this coins too also have a great future and with time they can do better than bitcoin. And etherum also have a good future, I can invest in etherum too.

I choose projects that are geared towards globalization, if the project has really good goals for the future, then I like these projects, but of course bitcoin today is one of the most promising and well-known projects, so people choose it.
