If you plan to invest in promising coins, for example in EOS or NEO, then I think it's not risky.  These are good coins.

When the price of altcoins has already grown, I would not risk and now invest.  I advise you to invest in ETH or BTC.

Better not to buy at high so that later you are not in a cry. Altcoins are too risky when people invest without any research about the project.

We have many great altcoins now on the crypto market some of them are good for investment or buying and some of them are not, so for me it depends to a person and it's wise decision to avoid the riskyness of the altcoins.

Depends on the alt coin. NEO  , ETH , for example is here to stay for a good while imo but something like PACcoin is unpredictable and volatile its equal chance you’ll lose half your money as doubling.

In terms of altcoins, depending on how much you invest and when you plan to invest, it will affect the amount of risk you take on. It`s very dangerous if you don`t have knowledge about investing in altcoins. Yes, the market is unstable and it`s enough risky to invest in. But with the risk you have profit. There is a lot of trash altcoins, but if you learn how to find good altcoins, you will have a huge profit, because their price will go up in the future.

The market of crypto currencies is very dangerous for investments. Therefore, each investment is very risky, be it altcoins or bitcoin. Even now, when prices are low enough, no one is in a hurry to buy up currencies, because they understand that the future is uncertain and the price even now can fall down.

I think now it is not risky to invest in promising altcoins because the price is now low and by the end of the year in any case you can make a profit.

I will say that it is not only altcoin that are too risky to invest in but all crypto because it is volatile and unpredictable. Now that the price of altcoin are low, it does not only affect the altcoin but it also affect other potential cypto like bitcoin. For those that bought when the price was high, it is a very disappointing moment now but I believe the best thing to do is to hold the coin till the market recover because by then the price of the coin will rise as long as it is a good one and then you can sell at a higher price.
