my thoughts are the same as you because most ico when tokens have been released in the market price down below ico price. and will probably be able to return ico's worth for a long time depending on the project itself. maybe if not have much courage better buy in the market

Buying tokens during ISO is very dangerous. At the moment, most projects do not live up to the release of the token on the stock exchanges. This is a very sad statistics, because of which most investors lose interest in crypto.

Currently, the market is in decline, it is better to buy in the market. Since the vast majority of coins that go on sale after, are traded on the exchange in two or even three times cheaper.

This choice depends a lot on the factors and conditions of the market. By the time of 2017. we even win each other to register whitelist or kyc to buy tokens in the presale period. But this time it looks like everyone investing is focusing on the stage after listing exchanges.

So far this year, it has almost always been better to buy during market.
Because of the market conditions and overall bearish trends, basically every single ico has dropped below ico price even with bonuses.

One of the big problems has been lack of volume and the high cost of listing on big exchanges.
It has really gotten out of hand where even medium volume exchanges charge from 100,000 to 500,000 to get listed.

So a lot of icos had to go to cheaper, low volume exchanges and basically no one buys or sells and the price crashes.

Another problem is, a lot of icos have had a hard time moving fast and the coin is on a dex like IDEX for awhile before it hits a centralized exchange.

This almost always causes the overall price to fall because for some reason, a lot of people don't like using dexs.
Even though they are very easy to use, I never understood that.

I believe it's smarter to purchase altcoins amid ICO in light of the fact that I believe it's less expensive and accompanies incredible reward offer as high as half. A few coins pump promptly it's on showcase and the thought or outlook numerous have that they will purchase from abundance seekers may not be practical in light of the fact that they too will need to make most extreme pick up once the cost has gone up.

if it is to avoid large losses it's better to buy tokens or coins when listing on the exchange than to buy when the ICO, unless it is a good project and clear, better buy when ICO so we get a lot of profit

Buying during ICO or market depends on the project. If the project is real good you will reach big profit, but we know many project ICO are scam so be carefull choosing them.

I noticed that many investors were afraid to buy during ICO because their reason they are cheaper can be bought on market. Especially when they found out  that a large percentage is allotted in the bounty program. Many Bounty Hunters  immediately selling token/coin even lower than the ICO price.

In my opinion is better to buy in the market, ICOs now more have a lower price on appeal when you buy it in token sale, probably because there are more ICOs that cause tough competition in the token sale, so they only run the project with small funds even though it has reached softcap.

There are advantages and disadvantages if we buy in ICO or market. I think it dpends on our knowledge to choose ICO project. If the project is good I will buy when ICO because accordong to me that ICO has good prospect and potential in the market.

I agree with your opini

Best option is to buy the coin when it is listed on exchange. Some times the ICO coins do not get listed on any exchange and the chances of scam is also there. On exchange the price of the coin will go lower than the ICO price so why taking risk by investing in ICO.
But you can not ignore the situation that the price on exchange will be many times higher than the price ico, and if we buy right at the time of ico, we can get a lot of profit from the price increase, this high risk will always come with a fair reward. And because of this reason, many people did not hesitate to invest in ico, regardless of the risks and dangers that ico is having at present, in short, I think that depending on each project, if we analyze and see the opportunity, we can buy in ico and vice versa, if not, we should buy on exchange but always remember that never invest all

If the project is good, then its price will not be less than the price specified at least at the beginning of the ICO. But unfortunately, practice suggests that most ICO are cheap.

Buy in ICO as well. Because there are so many gifts that you can not leverage and will definitely make a profit at the moment it is available in the market.

In the last 3 months, no project has been profitable. I think it's the most logical exchange. I'm on the buy now exchange

Same here, all ICOs I invested in were below the ICO price when they hit the exchanges. Even quality projects on the NEO platform like Bridge protocol. Currently trading at 1/10 of ICO price. On top your money gets locked for months...I only do exceptional ICOs like Sparkster, but otherwise buy on the exchange.

I do not invest in ICOs. Because ICOs lose value when they enter the stock market and fall below the ICO value. so I get from the market

After people began to understand that the system and fund-raising process, called the ICO today, is not very honest and reliable, because it obviously does not limit developers in any way, people realized that something needs to be changed.

I think the better way is to buy during ICO,  but first have some reviews and investigate on the project you want to buy to make sure it is not scam project. During ICO you will get huge discount and already got incentives on it ,learn how to wait to sell it for the best price you want to get profit on it.

I saw that numerous speculators were hesitant to purchase amid ICO in light of the fact that their reason they are less expensive can be purchased on advertise. Particularly when they discovered that a huge rate is distributed in the bounty campaign program. Numerous bounty hunters quickly offering token/coin even lower than the ICO cost.

I would rather buy a token when it enters the big crypto market because it is more secure than buying when the initial coin offer

I think that depends on the investor's perception of the project. If he believe that the project will be successful it doesn't matter when you'll buy their coins. There are few promising ICO's right now which I have invested namely ETOS, Menlo, and EOT. And, I didn't wait for them to get into the exchange to invest my money with because I believe in them.

That's right. Some projects are all talk or pure hype with no intrinsic value... Out of the ICOs you listed, I find Menlo most interesting since it sort of functions as a decentralized broker to list future ICOs. Also, the team behind it has a good track record. imho, this has some potential for mass adoption.
