Hello, does anybody know why I am getting black screen? Everything worked fine before used smos without a problem and after a restart I just getting black screen.
Also anyway to get help from the smos support in live chat?

SMOS is constantly resetting miner and rig after installing 7th GPU.
Any ideas? How to fix this issue?
It was working fine with 4 GPUs but when I plugged 7 in total, it's resetting the GPUs constantly.

have 6 rigs with differents gpus fom 8 to 12 each
many times i constcuct new rigs, i have situation as you describe - at the end always solutions was - replace risers or replace pci-e splitter

Hi. Can anybody explain how payments work on smos. Did transfer 24h ago 1 etc and it showed it completed in 1h on my List of deposits but it has not went over on to the ballance?
Im getting to my last 24h of mining and Im stuck?

Can you add dstm miner?
Can you add individual target temp and fan speed for each card?
And the question, smos auto-updates itself if a new version comes out? I have nv-v1118, if v1119 or v1120 comes it will autoupdate or I have to download the new image?

All rigs are auto updating with new scripts or miner files.
Still i wont be making auto updates of drivers and kernel becasue this is dangerous.
Instead there will be optional updates for that cases
And also new images with applied new kernels and drivers such as this : http://download.simplemining.net/beta/simpleminer-RX-NV-rc2.img.zip

What are the chances you will make a mixed card image? Like Nvidia and AMD or RX and r9.
Even if it is larger in size and has less miners.

New to SMOS, but I'm really liking the platform. Does anyone have decent OC settings for the RX580 for power savings and respectable hashing power. I get about 29 mh/s @ 130w on windows.

Here are my settings for my 570, I don't have any 580s, but it might be a good starting point for you. I'm getting 28+ mh/s @ ~80w per card.
Core - 1175
Mem - 1975
Core Undervolting - 850
Powerstage - 3
I have the same exact settings and its no way closer to 80 W per card.. 900 watts for 6 gpu rig (all 570. 3 diff models though)..
Wow, 900 watts for 6 GPUs seems super high. Make sure your SMOS is updated and running the latest version. My 3 card RX570 rig is pulling 309 watts at the wall and my 4 card RX570 rig is pulling 397 watts at the wall. Although I just thought of another reason my power usage is so low, I switched to cryptonight instead of Ethash recently. I noticed nearly 50% less power usage with the cryptonight algo compared to ethash. So I guess if I were running Ethash again I probably would be closer to 120 watts per card.

Cryptonight is an algorithm used by a few different coins, like ethash is the algorithm used by ETH. 900 watts isn't too bad for ETH mining on 6 x RX570s. I'm not mining ETH on my rigs right now, so I forgot how much more power it draws.

Yea cryptonight doesn't use near as much power. I noticed the same thing.

Thanks for the quick reply guys. The Asus Strix RX580 is power hungry, but performs very well with under/overclocking and a modded bios. Plus the cooling system is overkill which is nice. I was currently at 1200 core & 2150 mem with a power stage of 5. I'd rather be more efficient though. I'll give these settings a go!
