Has anyone called them in their offices at 81-3-4520-6250? Im buying a phone card and trying just wondering if anyone has gone this route? WOuld be waste of time if no one spoke english when called there although all emails answered in english just wondering what lenghts they would go since I waited 3 days to get an assbag reply of support questioning if i was writting regarding a withdrawl.

Just did, and guess what? The number +81-3-4520-6250 won't ring, while +81-3-4520-6200 will ring but no answer.
Great.

I made a support ticket 3 days ago. It has number XXX0000.
I made a second support ticket today. It has number XXX3000.
That means they could have up to 1000 tickets a day.
How are they supposed to answer on a timely manner 1000 support tickets every day with only a dozen of people?

I noticed they hired this guy last dec. -jp.linkedin.com/pub/michael-toy/24/a5b/443-
His role is Customer Support Manager.
I hope they are trying to catch with their backlogs quickly.

Getting more people to give empty boiler-plate replies to tickets regarding missing withdraws won't help. These tickets are just a symptom of the underlying problem: you can only withdraw from emptygox in JPY, which takes a week, or EUR, which takes a month. They have no volume these days and there isn't a huge inflow of new very stupid people who sign up at emptygox. People who have been waiting for their withdraw for months are obviously going to open tickets about it. duh.

"emptygox", nice one  Grin

Simple question? Has anyone received any Bitcoin withdrawals, which fulfill the following criteria:

- Witdrawal requested last Saturday or later.
- Did not arrive in the first hour.

Nope. You either get it immediately or never.

All previous problems have been solved, but are we this time really talking about absolutely NO stuck bitcoin withdrawals processed in 5 days?

Well mine is stuck for over 72 hours (3 days) and I have not recived any answer on my support ticket.
And the list of broken tx is growing : http://thegoxreport.com/

An update on my previous post on withdrawal of JPY from MtGox, and some good news.

The withdraw i made on the 8th Jan, is now showing as "processed", and the funds have hit my bank a/c

The other withdrawal, I made, the one on 9th Jan is still showing "confirmed", maybe the status will change tomorrow.

I also noticed they hired 2 to 3 web developers in dec and jan.

Is this a sign for putting things in order from Mark?
I hope so.

Anyone do Japanese domestic transfer using a CitiBank-JP account to/from Gox?
I hear that Gox wont/cant do business with Citibank-US
and am wondering if that is a US Gov restriction or maybe Citibank's internal policy?

Just got an answer from MtGox, that Citibank (in Japan) does not accept the transaction associated with the bitcoin.
 Angry

 Sad

huh.   I just received a withdrawal today to my citibank japan account from gox and have been doing it for 5 or more months without issue.

i have been doing it for months without issue too, but this is the answer i received today for a 8 days ticket old..

"現在、シティバンク銀行はビットコインに関連する取引を受け付けておりません。

また他に何か困りごとや質問などがございましたらお問い合わせください。

よろしくお願い致します。

Best regards"

I wonder if this just took effect.   Oh well, if thats going to be the case now time to open a japannet ginko account.   But I did just get a payment today 1/29.   Weird.

(to translate you can just use google translate...)

it's really weird, but i was waiting for a withdrawal since 12th January and yesterday i decided to cancel it, they did it and i made a new withdrawal on my JapaNet account... let's see what happens now!

how can you cancel a withdrawal by the way?
could be interested in doing that in the worst case if my withdrawal is not processed within a reasonable time frame.
(I am withdrawing JPY to my Japanese local bank)
tks.

* Withdrawals

All withdrawals will be sent through the MtGox Polish bank account and will involve a 1% fee with a minimum of 5.5 PLN

Please note the following rules :
- It is not possible to withdraw less than 10 EUR.
- Withdraws lower than 100.00 EUR are on average take less than a week.
- It takes at least a month on average for withdrawals larger than 10,000 EUR
- Withdrawals greater than 50,000 EUR need to be split it into multiple transfers or you can use the International Wire payment method.
- Due to the volume of withdrawals requests, each customer is currently only allowed 1 withdrawal every 20 days (estimate)
Situation as of 16th January 2014: We are currently processing withdrawals requested 3 weeks ago. (Users with several withdrawals in the queue must take the 20 day rule above into account)

Is this an official announcement?

Sure, its in the FAQ: https://support.mtgox.com/entries/21649594-Withdrawals-and-Deposits
Does this correspond to everyone's actual experience?

This is from the FAQ under the "Europe/SEPA Transfers(EUR)" section. I am taking about Japanese domestic transfers, where the same FAQ says:

"* Withdrawals
All JPY withdrawals placed before 4pm Tokyo time on banking days are now processed the following banking day, and will be sent from our JapanNet Bank account."

Which is patently false.

Haha yes that is true. Its totally false. Thats why at the withdrawal center, its written in the pink box that there are delays from New Year. I think that message is intended for domestic transfers but MtGox probably left it intentionally vague so as to seem like an excuse for ALL of their withdrawals having serious delays. They really need better management...

Really? Just when i got my hands in a Japanese Account, what's the real time for JPY withdraws?

Taday it's been 15 days waiting my JPY withdraw. From 12th January...

I have made 2 withdrawal requests last week on the 21st and 22nd, not knowing about the delays in JPY withdrawal because so far I did not have any problems. I once waited 7days to get my money into my local Japanese (shinsei) bank account back in oct last year but that s about it.
This week on Monday I decided to make a support ticket. It has been 3 days now but no answer so far. Last year I used to get a quick answer from the support team whenever I had a problem.
What is going on?

by what standards is anything improving over there?  everything is worsening......support answer time was hours half a year ago...now we can wait weeks !

each and every of my last 3 tx in different amounts were broken !!   IS ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO GOT ANY BTC WITHDRAWL BROKEN OR UNBROKEN IN THE LAST 24 hours?Huh

2 withdrawals at around 6:40PM PST yesterday. 1 right after the other. Went through instantly. I know I was lucky.

I think the withrawals that go through instantly are only the small amounts.
Big amounts need human confirmation I guess.

Well given the withdrawal problems, it would be silly to try for a 100+ BTC withdrawal. And 0-100 has about the same success I've noticed.

[just tried one of 7 BTC and one of 10 BTC.....stuck for 24 hours......
Sturle....are your BTC withdrawls still working??
Has been a while since I withdrew BTC from MtGox.  I prefer to withdraw EUR, and deposit BTC.

MtGox are aware of the issue, and afaik the situation is finally improving.

Lol and yet you have no critical view of them despite this level of unacceptable customer service.

Who gives a crap if they have a pretty website and API when the damn thing doesn't accomplish what users need it to do in the most basic service requirements? Pffft lol
