Director-general of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Lamido Yuguda, yesterday, reaffirmed say the suspension of the crypto assets investment guidelines wey the agency propose last year still dey valid. For press briefing after Capital Market Committee meet for yesterday, Yuguda says the recent decision CBN made to close accounts of crypto exchanges wey dey Naija to protect the financial system from abuse don disrupt the market.

He talk say SEC’s suspension of the proposed guideline go remain valid until operators of the various crypto exchanges don have access to their accounts in Nigerian banks that CBN closed.

The thing be sey the site is legit, na legit site. I think the site na p2p, the address generated na the address of someone or organization wey dey sell the cards, and the the people and organizations go be Naija when Naija Naija wan buy. I think the site make good sense because sey, if you wan buy recharge card, you go transfer the coin of interest from noncustodial wallet, and be credited if the transaction don successful.
