Manchester United really did it. Grin

As I said there could be a surprise it really happened. After this great battle vs Arsenal it is time to return to the PL. The next competitor is going to be Southampton.

The game is at Old Trafford. I wouldn't accept any other thing than a clean victory if I were a Manchester United fan.

Do you think they will benefit from this morale boost or will they continue to lose points?

They couldn't win a single game for 4 weeks in a row. 3 of them are losses. People are criticizing Amorim already but they should just wait. Things can't be fixed magically all of a sudden.

Whether the match will be played at Nottingham forest home field or not, the fact remains that Liverpool will try all their best to retaliate the loss they suffered previously in the hands of Nottingham forest, and for them to achieve this, I bet they must be training real hard even at this very moment.

On the other hand, Nottingham may still be dwelling in over confidence in the themselves believing that since they beat Liverpool before, that they can easily do it again, this may be the reason why they may end up loosing their coming game against Liverpool tomorrow, I hope and pray this doesn't happen.

But all the same, this is a match I believe will be very tough, and non of us should miss out on watching it.

This has to be a difficult game for City. They got several wins in a row, but not enough to get my confidence to pick them. They won easily against FA cup team, which was 3rd tier team. Brentford is definitely going all out against them.

It seems to me betting in total over is quite right compared to the City win. We know how good Brentford is, they're good at attacking and defense, but only lack of consistency.

We may also see draw to happen in this game.

I would like to watch this match, I did not expect that after half of the season Nottingham will be in the top 4. This particular encounter is actually a tricky test for this Manchester city side because this is the kind of games we are going to watch and be convince if Manchester city are back or not, because at it stands, most football faithful thought that Manchester city are back to their very best which on my own part I strongly disagree, but this game is actually going to prove if the Manchester city we all know in the past are back or not.
Then on the aspect of if they can score a higher numbers of goals against this Brentford side, no, I don't really think so, though everything is possible, but I don't believe that Manchester city has the capacity right now to thrash Brentford team, because this is an opposition they mostly struggle against even when they are in the top of their game in the past, so I believe that it's actually going to be fierce and fascinating between this two teams.

That was exactly my point in my post that you quoted, City have now won three games in a row for the first time in a long while, against Leicester, West Ham and Salford respectively, but their game in mid-week is a far tougher one. Brentford are a very strong team at home this season, City have picked up some momentum, but if they can beat Brentford it will give them a lot of confidence and it will be proof that they are nearing their good form again.
