People are already losing confidence in Manchester City with the way their performance has dropped, and most people are thinking it’s going to be difficult for Manchester city to bounce back due to injury problem which they are facing, but I will say it’s still early, Manchester City can’t continue performing poorly, and the gap between Manchester City, and Liverpool is still close, it’s not that much that we will think Manchester city won’t be able to cover up, just that Guardiola will have to fix the current problem Manchester City is having early.
How could they lose confidence so quickly in just 11 weeks out of 38?
I'm not sure how they came to that conclusion so quickly, when the Premier League still has 27 games left until the end of the season. Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal or Chelsea can still change before the end of the season, this means that all possibilities are still there.

Removing Manchester City too quickly from a potential title-winning team is not a good decision, I definitely doubt Manchester City will fail this season. Liverpool are certainly still in their best form, but who can guarantee they will stay like this throughout the season? I don't think there is.

I think a lot of people don’t realize that this is the only season where Manchester City have actually started well. Manchester City have a track record of getting good results from January and then winning the Premier league. I wouldn’t be tooo excited about City losing four games when we still have 27 games to go. Manchester City are far from being out of the title race this season. EPL fans desperately want another team to win the league this season so it doesn’t look like City are farming the league.
The truth is that Manchester City under Pep Guardiola is one team you can't actually undermine when they're mathematically not out of the race to win trophy. We've seen them come from behind on some occasions to win the league so coming back from five points that they're currently trailing league leaders Liverpool at the moment is very possible but I also think that they'll face more difficult competition this season than they've never faced in the league of Liverpool continues with their current form. I don't think anyone who knows how lethal Manchester City is would want to write them off but I have a strong feeling they'll not win the league this season

Manchester City and Liverpool currently have a 5 point gap in the standings and I don't think this is an impossible gap to overcome. Manchester City just needs to improve their performance and wait for Liverpool's mistakes, this will increase the pressure on Liverpool.

I agree with you that it is possible for Manchester City to overcome Liverpool. Manchester City has also overcome Arsenal in the last two seasons, and I will not argue about that. However, the truth is that Liverpool is very strong at this moment. It is possible they maintain this strength until the end of the season and never give Manchester City the chance to surpass them.

As for me, the most favored team to win the Premier League title this season is Liverpool. However, let's keep watching since the season has not yet reached its middle There are still many matches to play. I would also like to point out that even Arsenal and Chelsea still have some chances to win the league if Liverpool is affected by injuries. If that happens, Liverpool's performance will surely decline, and Chelsea and Arsenal may try to close the points gap.Currently, there is a 9 points difference with Liverpool at the top of the table.

I saw a lot of people wanting Arsenal to become champions because Artate took a long time to get there, Arsenal spent a lot of money on new players, but they always lacked something at the last moment, and now Arsenal lost too many points from the very beginning and they are already 9 points behind Liverpool, and it seems that Arsenal has no chance to reduce this gap. City is also 5 points behind Liverpool, this is a lot, but I am also sure that City will chase Liverpool until the end of the season, and I also doubt that Liverpool will go the whole distance without losing points.

Anyways, every team get out of form sometimes. I'm curious about whether Guardiola will still win the league title another time despite these hard times. What do you think, Liverpool or Manchester City?  Huh

With the return of Liverpool and Chelsea to the title race arena, we are happy because that way Man City cannot be lazy forever in the Premier League. Apart from Liverpool there is another dark horse Nottingham Forest, although it does not guarantee that they can be consistent until the end of the season but at least their presence can provide color on the standings for a while. About Arsenal, I am a little disappointed because their performance seems to be experiencing obstacles, Arteta must restore his players motivation to be able to enter the title race with Liverpool and Chelsea to intercept Man City from the trophy.

I just read that one of the EPL referees has been temporarily dismissed. He is Coote. David Coote is accused of having violated referee discipline. He was accused of using foul language to describe former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp. In a video circulating on social media, Coote was accused of insulting Kloop. The insult occurred in 2020 when Liverpool played Burnley. Coote is a very experienced referee, he has been in charge since 2018.

You are a bit behind the times. There is already a video of him sniffing cocaine and photos of him with other friends (I don't remember if they are also referees or not) relaxing in the company of Thai prostitutes. For a married man, this is antisocial behavior. And I understand that there is a personal life and all that, but if he violates written/unwritten rules everywhere, then I think he has no prohibitive barriers with corruption either.

A new journey is starting for Manchester United with Ruben Amorim. What do you think about this change? Do you have big expectations?  Huh

I just don't want to make sure of anything yet. Like he will do much better than Erik ten Hag and so on. Because if you remember, Erik ten Hag was also a really successful manager before signing for Manchester United. He was doing great with Ajax but this change wasn't good for any sides after.

Amorim has also done great things at Sporting. However it is too early to claim he will maintain it in the Premier League as well.
Not expecting more and just want to see MU become better than with Ten Hag.
We don't know what will happen and at least we need 2 matches to see the results. If the performance in the EPL and in the UEL still looks good, there is hope for Man United.
Even though we don't know what will happen, there's nothing wrong with trying to believe in Amorim.

I just hope Ruben Amorim needs to build Manchester United with a clear identity. Look at Manchester United's style of play under Ten Hag, it lacked consistency and was often disjointed. Ten Hag was hoping to replicate the success he had achieved at Ajax. However, instead of building a distinct identity, he quickly fell into confusion with his football philosophy. It was the failure to create a clear identity that prevented the team from achieving the necessary stability, both in terms of results and performance quality. Ruben Amorim needs to see this as an expensive lesson left by his predecessor.

Amorim's mission is not only to change the style of play but also to revive the spirit and form of the players who have been overshadowed. If Ruben Amorim can awaken the potential of his players to return to the top? I believe he has succeeded halfway. And Everything will be answered on the pitch. We can only wait and hope.

I like Manchester City because they have a good record and play but during the season there are some matches which are difficult and it is difficult to get a win from there.  And there are some matches that are going to be won and Manchester City lose those matches too. If you look at the condition of Manchester City at the moment it is bad in which they have played 4 matches and have not won any of them. And if you look at some matches below that there have been 4 matches played in which there is not a single match where there was a defeat. This proves that if Manchester City play well, they win a lot of matches if they are weak, they do not win a single match. Manchester City's next match is also difficult in which we can not say whether they will win this match or continue their loss streak.
If we want to support a team, we should support it in such a way that we can stand by that team even in its bad times. Manchester City has been successful in the last few seasons and they have performed well in the Premier League but this season their performance is not going well at all. Manchester City's weak midfield is probably responsible for the poor performance this season. We know that Manchester City had good quality midfielders before but this season Manchester City does not have good quality midfielders and that is why Manchester City is playing random games in the midfield and as a result we are seeing this successful team losing one match after another. But the most hopeful thing for Manchester City fans is that Pep Guardiola is still in charge of their team so this manager will surely be able to change the performance of the team.

Manchester City have been really disappointing recently. They lost their last 4 official games. This is really big for a team being called one of the strongest teams in the world. I can't say I'm sad for them in the Premier League though.  Grin  Because I really want to see a different champion this year. Liverpool look really promising for that for now.

Anyways, every team get out of form sometimes. I'm curious about whether Guardiola will still win the league title another time despite these hard times. What do you think, Liverpool or Manchester City?  Huh

Manchester City, who had three defeats in 38 games last year, have already suffered two defeats despite being at the top of the league. Apart from the two defeats they had in the Premier League, they also had defeats in the Champions League. That's why everyone thinks Manchester City could decline this year. Of course, the Premier League is a very difficult league. It's very difficult to predict what will happen, but if it continues like this, we can watch Liverpool lead until the end of the year.

I saw this post on the Premier League’s official Instagram page. The caption was ‘so much cab change in a year’. At first I thought it was a roast at Manchester City since they were number 1 last season and now are struggling between games to keep their position at number 2 on the table. But more interesting is that Arsenal didn’t really change, they maintained the same spot. And Manchester United have dropped drastically this year, from 8th on the table last year to 13th on the table. Which other team caught your eye?
In my opinion, Man City's performance in the 11 matches they have played so far cannot be said to have decreased drastically because they are still in 2nd place and maybe sooner or later they will soon catch up with Liverpool, besides the performance of Man City and Arsenal, there are Chelsea and Notthingham Forest who have caught my attention at this time because they have made rapid progress even though they have only played 11 matches so far and there is also Tottenham Hotspur who have actually experienced a drastic decline this season, last season they were in 2nd place now they are in 10th place.
Liverpool's performance in the first 11 games of last season and the points they had are similar to what they have seen this season. However, the biggest proof that Manchester City is not able to perform like last season this season is the points table of this season. Liverpool and Manchester City have played equal number of matches in the Premier League with Liverpool topping the points table with 28 points while Manchester City are second in the points table with 23 points. That is, by playing this small number of matches, a big gap of five points has been created between Manchester City and Liverpool. If Liverpool performs like this until the end of the season, on the contrary, if Manchester City does such a messy performance, it goes without saying that Liverpool's title will be confirmed a few matches before the end of the season.

I remember when David Coote denied it, and an hour later, he changed his mind, then admitted he was the guy in the video. It's kinda stupid to see him did it. I meant, he has such a high profile job, and he blatantly allow someone to filmed him when he was insulting someone he disliked.

He let someone to filmed him saying load of stuff that could put his career in danger, and this time, his career is done.

David Coote is such a moron. It may be his karma.   Grin

In many latest seasons, Manchester City are the strongest and most stable team so that they won many Premier League titles recent years. Their competitors in Premier League like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Arsenal didn't have good stability so Manchester City did not need to have perfect season to win Premier League trophies.

Two seasons ago, Arsenal led Premier League in many weeks and months but at very last weeks of season, they lost their good form and let a first position taken over by Manchester City. After that, Manchester City raced speedily toward the finish line and lift Premier League again. Such race can happen again in this season with Liverpool replace Arsenal to challenge Manchester City.

I think the match was quite old and that problem it should has been resolved when the match was end and not investigated at this time, reportedly so far Coote has admitted that the person in the video is himself and obviously he deserves to be punished for his statement, but on the other hand, I think PGMOL must be neutral and thorough in the investigation,  so that indeed they can find the beginning of the problem because I remember if Liverpool match against Burnley in July 2020 was quite tight with a draw 1-1, even if I'm not mistaken, Klopp and Liverpool players were seen protesting several times very loudly, so I think it could be the main cause of the insult video that is circulated, Coote had said that in the match Klopp had also insulted and accused him of lying, so indeed I think there is no smoke if not fire Grin.

That is correct, people do not realize what they are doing at this point, they think that this will be something that will change a lot but in reality it didn't change at all. City will end up getting better near the end of the season when everyone else gets worse. That's what happened last season as well, we have seen City drop to as low as third, and Arsenal vs Liverpool became the talk for many people, in the end the other two lost and City ended up getting the title again.

Consistency is the key, and just because they lost some games, doesn't mean that City can't figure out a way to replace Rodri and get the win. I believe we are going to end up with a lot better results for them when they are given the chance. Of course this isn't really something that will take a long time, we just need to focus on what kind of recovery they will have and how. Pep is a master coach, he knows what to do and I bet that he will figure out a way that will shock the world.

In general, it can be seen that they are missing a player, but to be so much that they are losing 4 matches in a row - I highly doubt it, the reason is more likely to be something else, or maybe there is no reason at all, because with any team it happens sometimes. I think they have already replaced him adequately and we will see a good performance from them in the next match after such a big break
It was not expected by anyone to expect back-to-back defeats from Manchester City, which has been performing so magnificently for many years. Because with its squad and quality, it was a team that was normally hard to beat. However, losing four games in a row shows that it is time for Guardiola to change something. Perhaps their opponents now understand better what they want to do, since they have been on the field with the same squad and similar tactics for years. Apart from that, the players who were brought in to replace the old main squad may not be productive enough. This may be one of the reasons.

It's very sad and regrettable that people that should be the one protecting the game from foul languages and discrimination are the one breaking it and using it on someone.
When I saw this post the first thing I did was to click on the link to see the referee in question, if I knows him facially, because I didn't knows him by his name, but when I did checked, I felt really disappointed because I knows him very well and he is a very talented referee.

But if truly he is guilty of the claims against him, then I think he should pay for his actions, because their is repercussions or consequence of anything we do as humans, so even though he is one of those referees I like in the English premier league, he should still be punished for what he did, because he has really messed up.
