I saw this post on the Premier League’s official Instagram page. The caption was ‘so much cab change in a year’. At first I thought it was a roast at Manchester City since they were number 1 last season and now are struggling between games to keep their position at number 2 on the table. But more interesting is that Arsenal didn’t really change, they maintained the same spot. And Manchester United have dropped drastically this year, from 8th on the table last year to 13th on the table. Which other team caught your eye?
Besides Nottingham Forest, Everton is also my concern. If Everton remains like now, maybe they are at the end of the season to fight not to be degraded.
For Liverpool, we always monitor it. The new season Arne Slot is happy but we don't expect much to him.
Everton, on the other hand, have not changed and learned from the experience of last season, this season they are back to a slow start to the league and if that continues then it seems that the luck to avoid relegation like last season will be difficult for us to see.
Liverpool have shown that the change of coach has actually given them a positive impact, previously many doubted that Slot could bring Liverpool better than Klopp this season, but in the meantime they are able to lead the EPL and also UCL.
While for Arsenal, Manchester City and Aston Villa, it looks like this season they won't be able to repeat what they achieved last season, apart from a significant drop in their consistency at the moment, I think player injuries will be the main factor that prevents them from being better than last season.
