I mean he had sixth place in one year, but won Europa cup and community shield, like it or not, the next year he was runners up in the league and the fa cup. How many managers can say they made United second place since him? Nobody, which is proof he did something correct. I am not saying Mourinho is great or anything, I am just saying you can like him or hate him but realize nobody after him got as much success as him in the league, nobody else won cups better than him neither, the best ETH got was fa cup, and I take Europa over FA any day and also Mourinho was runners up there, whereas ETH made this team finish dead last on their UCL group, and doing terrible at Europa now as well.

So while Mourinho may not be great, which I agree, he is also not followed by better managers neither. The discussions about if a manager is good or not, always stays within the manager himself, why talk about Mourinho and not compare him with others? Makes no sense.

I'm really impressed with Chelsea's performance this season.  Smiley  After that manager replacement in an unexpected moment, I was really wondering what they were going to do with Enzo Maresca.

He has really made a solid start to the season being in top four and only four points away from the leader. They are the second most scoring team as well. This makes me really excited about what they can do more during the rest of the season. Finally they can join the Champions League after a two-season break maybe... Palmer is really not from our world in my opinion.  Tongue  He is playing a huge role in their success so far.

What do you say about their chance?
Though Chelsea aren't currently in that position the club fans are yearning for but considering their performances this season, I think it's safe to say that they have actually improved from what we've been seeing in the team since 2020/21 they won the UEFA Champions League title.
Chelsea talisman Cole Palmer was announced the winner of the English Premier League player of the month award for September while the club manager Enzo Maresca was awarded the best manager of the month. It's a testament that there's improvement in the team and if they can continue to remain consistent, then I think they can go all the way and win the league title this season

Indeed, changing United to be better will take time. and the first step that club management must take is the right coach. remember, even if they get a new coach, United will not achieve big changes in a short time.
Many also criticize some of the players who are currently Ten Hag's choices. if the coach is replaced, of course, there will be changes in some players. this will be a long process. but if you want to see good progress, United must do it immediately.
I agree with you and yes I think this is something that people should know. When a team is performing badly then there is a problem that needs to be fixed and a solution found. What happened with United is they let Ten Hag be the manager for a long time but Manchester United did not get better. The fans want to see Manchester United like the Ferguson era even though it is impossible. But I think changing the manager can be a long term solution. United need to find the right manager to rebuild their squad.

in my opinion it is very likely that Ten Hag will be kicked out before Christmas, it's a normal thing, Manchester United is now in ruins, I don't like how he plays and I hope there is a crucial change in the management of the team, he's absolutely a manager to change immediately and I think they realized it
Firing Ten Haag is easy, but finding the right person to replace him is difficult.
Many good managers but not necessarily can succeed at this club, proven after Sir Alex Man United became a team that had difficulty achieving, they won several trophies but they were not favorites to be a title challenger.
The problems at Man United are becoming more complex, I am sure it will take time to fix this team.

But, you won't know the result without changing the coach of Manchester United. It's pretty much the same as you're looking for the last piece of the puzzle to complete it. And this is the most difficult task considering you must find a puzzle that could fit your team.

And there's nothing wrong if Manchester United does it. It's to ensure they get the right coach who can help them achieve their targets. Take a look at their competitors. A club like Chelsea always fired its coach until they found someone who could fit them well.

Also, in fact, many big clubs that won lots of trophies were always changing their coaches, too. I don't think it is taboo.

I also think the same as you. Why Ten Hag has not been fired because it is difficult to find a replacement and it is not certain that the targeted coach wants to coach Man United, because we know that building a team takes a process but Man United fans are impatient with that process. How many times have Man United changed coaches but none of them have been able to change Man United for the better because they want instant change. Since Sir Alex retired Man United has been in chaos and the problems have become more complete, and it is true as you said they need time to fix this team.

Indeed, changing United to be better will take time. and the first step that club management must take is the right coach. remember, even if they get a new coach, United will not achieve big changes in a short time.

Since the beginning many have predicted that Ten Hag would fail at Man United, why? Because if you look at the player transfers, it is more about nostalgia, it proves that this coach is not used to new players, wants to be in a comfort zone with tactics in a league different from the English league. In addition, Ten Hag seems unable to accept other people's opinions, it can be seen on the sidelines he disagrees with Ruud. Moreover, he does not accept input from players, who are clearly experienced in the English league field and some of them have played well with tactics and game plans that are different from the previous coach.

Ten Hag's attitude should be changed so that his performance improves, don't protect each other's egos. Because for now firing Ten Hag is also not the right solution, so Ten Hag must change and be willing to accept input from others.

Who knows if Erik Ten Hang has a secret deal with Manchester United management. I say this because of the audacity he uses to approach the media after every poor performance he gives out weekly. He is so subjective and threats the Manchester United matter as if it is his personal affair or like he owes 35% share in the coy. I will be looking up to the day he will be sacked. I will want to know his statement that day.
Ten Hag very optimistic attitude about remaining Manchester United manager raises big questions, especially after the board of directors met for 6 hours and no decision was made that could burden Ten Hag. It is only natural that negative assumptions arise such as a special relationship or secret agreement between him and the management because his position seems untouchable even though Manchester United performance is getting worse. It is very interesting to follow Ten Hag's development at Manchester United, how strong the management is in facing pressure from external parties such as fans who continue to push for the dismissal of the coach who is considered incompetent in handling the club.

I would say to Manchester United that if their club gets worse they will realize that they need to change their manager. Why can't the United management understand that if their club is handed over to another manager then the performance of the team will definitely change. The simple fact is they are too late to understand, if it was the case that Manchester United don't have good quality players then maybe there would be no chance to blame the manager but Manchester United have many good quality players but still Manchester United can't do well with these players. But if a manager is not tactical, he cannot plan well against the opposition, as we are seeing now in the case of Manchester United.

Man! Have you got comprehension issues with what's said? Jose Mourinho did three finals in two seasons? And if you was to mention trophies won, you'd mention that community shield? That's crazy man truthfully. I don't see that as a trophy for real. Jose Mourinho never did what Erik Ten Hag did and lastly, Jose Mourinho's tactics for Manchester United was hell boring, outdated defensive strategy for Manchester United. Don't act like his style of players wasn't itching to the normal eye. Ole Gunner Solskjaer also did play good football but he was tactically inept. The way he plays is no different from how Gareth Southgate plays, sit back and then hit your opponents with counter attacks. Buzz-kill.
Mourinho's tactics while coaching Manchester United was boring, but the team was in good form, and they are well competitive; he doesn't have such poor performance in European competition. I don't actually see anything special in wining one FA Cup and one Carabao Cup for big team like Manchester United as an achievement when other teams are battling to win the Premier League. If these achievements come from someone coaching small team, I will take it as a great achievement but making Manchester United as whole looks like an average team especially in the Europa League.
Ten Hag did not deserve to keep coaching Manchester United; he needs to be sacked because the team gave him all he requested for, and this his third sseason, and nothing to show for it and the team keep have bad performances every time.

I think Erik Ten Hag is one of the best managers Manchester United have found since Sir Alex Ferguson was gone. I still remember what Erik Ten Hag did in his first season with great difficulty, a team that was in a slump and depressed with defeats could be rebuilt as it has shown Erik Ten Hag to be the right person for the team.

Maybe it's not just a manager who needs to be corrected, there are many things that the team currently needs, the team with the big name Manchester United is in a state of chaos in all aspects.

when they start working as a new coach they will always do everything right and what you said about ten is true but for a very short while everything has collapsed and then did not reign too along the way a lot of people expected and coming from a club like Manchester United is what is shocking to people because things have now turned upside down for Manchester United, it either they are losing or they losing. ten had his chance and he has blown it already there is nothing for him again because even the fans of Manchester United don't want him any longer because of the lack of results they are getting from him and look at other clubs are advancing and Manchester united is still very behind because they were kind of active during the transfer window and nothing changed so he just goes since there is no improvement.

Not sure what happened behind it all but what is certain is that we can only think positively if the possibility of Man United management still believes that Ten Hag can provide positive changes at the end of this season. So Ten Hag will remain and without worrying about being fired. And this season seems like it will be the last season for Ten Hag to serve as Man United coach. But if in the coming season Ten Hag is still maintained, maybe I should stop betting on Man United which will be difficult to predict with inconsistent results.

Maybe they should sack Erik Ten Hag so they know what they're missing. Hate it or love it, he has won two trophies and involved in three finals. Something no one has done since Sir Alex Ferguson.
Wrong, Mourinho did it, he won 3 trophies.

Ten Hag is a combination of bad and luck at the same time.

He's bad because he destroyed Manchester United and other players career, even he has sign the players that he likes, but Manchester United is weaker than in the past. He's lucky because Manchester United perform good in some match, which make he won 2 trophies.

I really don't see any reason to keep Ten Hag on the team, I don't find any logical reasons, however, those who defend Ten Hag, I don't know why they do it, I understand his family and some of his friends, but the rest who are MU fans should do their part to ensure that MU wins and has good results. At this stage in life, a team should not be the victim of a coach who is in 13th place and says that they are the best team that has improved the most in the PL , that is something that doesn't make sense, I still don't understand what they are defending him for.

Things might have gone left, but then, Erik Ten Hag is not a bad a bad manager. Personally, I do because of what he did for Manchester United during his first season, do you remember that season? Manchester United just need things to click ffs! You're to back the manager until the last day, I mean the day he'll be sacked. And if he'll be sacked, I'm glad to say that I backed him up with my full chest until the last day. Y'all can cry all you want, go see Mikel Arteta's third season for Arsenal and how much loses he also had at some points during that season. Maybe they should sack Erik Ten Hag so they know what they're missing. Hate it or love it, he has won two trophies and involved in three finals. Something no one has done since Sir Alex Ferguson.

I admit that Ten Hag has not given a positive impact in the last 3 seasons but sometimes a coach really needs time to be able to improve the team's performance and bring Man United to a higher level.
Ten Hag's first season was not really a bad one for him, because Manchester United were able to qualify for the Champions League that season, but after the season in which he joined, Manchester United's performance has been so poor, and their performance is getting worse. I don’t really understand what you mean by he should be given more time, because I know Ten Hag has been given enough time, but there is no improvement in Manchester United's performance.

Ten Hag was given money to sign some players during the last transfer window, but I just feel like Ten Hag doesn’t just know the players he wants, he doesn’t have confidence in his signing because he doesn’t even give most of the players he signed the opportunity to play well in matches. He signed players, but I just feel like he doesn’t even know the players that he needs.

He's even signed a few players he's worked with before, but apparently at MU he still can't work with them because I don't see most of them on the pitch. I don't know who started the rumours that he might be sacked after the Aston Villa match, but he is very confident that he won't be sacked, I mean he literally knows it. Sooner or later it will lead to MU hanging around in the second half of the standings. That hasn't happened so far because somehow MU has top class players who can win sometimes, even despite Ten Hag's delusional leadership
Manchester United performance has not shown any good development under ten hag  coaching and when even they get negative results in the European league in a row it should be considered for ten hag's dismissal, but the reality is that at the moment Ineos and ten hag still agree to continue their cooperation in bringing Manchester United further down until the end of the season later Grin.
Previously, there were many rumors that Ten Hag position would be very influential from the result of the match against Aston Villa, but we can see that in the end, the management still supports him as a coach and I don't know what their reasons???
At this time, the management should be aware that they has met all ten hag demands in building a team by signing many good players, but when the results obtained are not in accordance with the expected expectations, shouldn't kicking ten hag out from old trafford now be one of the solutions?

Maybe the official compared with another club which have the same problem with coach. Yes, I agree to management big club like MU is not instant, the coach need much time to managed team to be solid. If they fired ten haq today, and recruit new coach that make teams will start again from the beginning and the possibility a new coach will make a new mistake then the official will repeat again to fired a new coach and recruit a new coach again, so on. Everyone knows finding a good coach is hard nowadays because they already have jobs and feel at home at their club, I think the official was make the right decision to extend it, but ten hag don't be fooled being noticed, because he have hard work and must make the team should be better from today.
How much time does Ten Hag needs to bring the club performance to solid when he has spent more than two years in the club as a head coach. I think that there is a lot going on in Manchester United that we don't know with Ten Hag and the management, if not why not get his ass kicked after lots of poor performance. Maybe the management is still having big hope on Ten Hag that will will bring home another trophy this again, so that Ten Hag can reassess himself and conclude with 3 years, 3 trophies to intimidate the fans and management in order for contract extension  Grin. But I guess that will not happen.
I don't know, maybe 10 years?  Grin
Maybe The official still considering him because has presented 2 trophies for MU Carabao (2022/2023) dan FA cup (2023/2024). Ten Hag always said his achievement when pressed by reporters. He always denied that coaching a big team like MU was not easy. so it takes more time to make the team more solid. And, I think the official has been affected his rebuttal, yes we know how a coach like Jose Mourinho always said his achievements when got pressure by reporter, and Ten hag do the same thing like his senior, but I think he could be fired on the next year if always got a bad result. he couldn't deny it anymore this time.

10 years waiting for Manchester United's decline and entering the relegation zone ? Cheesy
The longer the time spent if every season always experiences decline means that the coach is not the right manager for the club if the coach needs time, every season should experience improvement not getting worse while what is happening to Man United right now is that they are increasingly uncontrollable even though they have spent a lot of money to recruit many players needed by the coach. Indeed, Erik Ten Hag always gives trophies every season and maybe that's what makes management still believe in him but good performances in the Premier League are also very important for what to win the Carabao trophy and FA Cup if as an elite club he does not play in the Champions League and does not finish in the top 5 in the Premier League?
