There is one scenario I can think of as to how Manchester City could secure a chance to make the playoffs and that is their win against Club Brugge and PSG's win against Stuttgart. If both win, Manchester City will automatically qualify for the playoffs and might win a ticket to the round of 16.

I also don't expect Manchester City to fail any quicker than in previous seasons. They must be able to ensure themselves to qualify for the round of 16 and fight to win every ticket to the next stage, but this is also not easy. Manchester City have been very inconsistent with their performance so far, but their performance in the Premier League is starting to improve and this will probably affect their performance in the Champions League as well.
Manchester City is winless in last four games in Champions League while their defeat against PSG was humiliating which give them setback and also put them out of 24 now after watching league table they are having only one chance of qualification into next round is won.

Three teams from league table have chance of promotion Manchester City, Zagreb and Shakhtar Donetsk from these Manchester City and Zagreb needs to win their games while Shakhtar Donetsk also depended on other results as well but good advantage for Manchester City they are playing at home with Zagreb is also having challenge at home AC Milan. While Shakhtar Donetsk going to visit Borussia Dortmund which is surely not easy place for them just because of this situation is problematic few 4 bottom teams all others are in safe zone but few results surely going to have surprises for fans.

If they suffer a surprise defeat against Club Brugge, they will be eliminated in the first stage of the Champions League. This will probably be the biggest surprise of the year. In my opinion, they will definitely win this match and make it to the playoffs.
Pretty sure they need to win to qualify for the knock-out round. They need to get 3 points to have a chance to finish 24th on the table. If they draw the match their points will be 9, which is not enough to surpass Stuttgart even if Stuttgart lose their next game. City also needs to pray that one of the teams in the 21-24th loses their next match to qualify, CMIIW. The chance for them to win against Brugge increases since they have new signings already. Even though Khusanov failed to make a good debut, Marmoush looks quite decent already. A good momentum will also boost their confidence.

When in the Champions League, each team will always face different conditions from the conditions in their own domestic league and for Club Brugge must really be considered a serious opponent by Manchester City because Club Brugge also knows that if Manchester City cannot win in the last match in the standings, it will make Manchester City eliminated from the Champions League competition this season. But apart from that, I am also starting to believe in the changes implemented by Guardiola at Manchester City and will try my best to be able to win when facing Club Brugge.
The last match that will be played by Manchester City in the Champions League will be the center of attention of fans because this match will determine their fate. I certainly do not doubt the quality of Manchester City players because they have a qualified advantage compared to the opponents they will face. But the difficulty for Manchester City in the Champions League is of course they have difficulty in winning.

In this case, Pep Guardiola has seen that the decline in their performance in the Champions League this season is quite bad. They find it difficult to beat their opponents, even Club Brugge cannot be underestimated because they will also play with full strength to find victory in the last match. But I will still bet on Manchester City victory in this match, they can even score a lot of goals if only they can score goals faster in this match.
As one of the teams favored by many people, Man City journey certainly always gets a lot of attention. Especially now with different conditions, where Pep Guardiola squad is under pressure to reach the play off zone, the spotlight on them will clearly increase more than before. On paper I predict Man City will succeed in defeating Club Brugge, not disrespecting them, but we know that in many aspects Pep Guardiola squad clearly has more advantages. It is true, Club Brugge cannot be underestimated, they also have the opportunity to create a surprise even though we know that victory tends to side with Man City. The 8th round match is a test of Man City and Pep Guardiola reputation, will they succeed in reaching the play-off round or be eliminated early.
In fact, the most curious thing in the last matches will be whether Manchester City will make it to the playoffs. Because when the Champions League started, everyone saw Manchester City as one of the favorites. However, they had very bad results for a while. They also had bad results in the Champions League. They are currently outside the top 24. If they suffer a surprise defeat against Club Brugge, they will be eliminated in the first stage of the Champions League. This will probably be the biggest surprise of the year. In my opinion, they will definitely win this match and make it to the playoffs.

This is how playoff and direct qualifiers places look like. Yeah, there is no Manchester City there. Crazy, right?  Grin  They are 2 points behind Stuttgart and follow them right behind. It would be a huge disappointment if they fail to throw themselves in playoffs. The last one is vs Club Brugge home. I guess Guardiola wouldn't make the fans sad by losing points in such game. The biggest issue of them has been to play terrible against top clubs. So we can still see them getting eliminated by such club in the phase right after this one.
Manchester City will definitely qualify and that is where experience will come in. There is no way they will be eliminated when PSG  is playing Stuttgart in a match that appears to favor the home team PSG. Even if they end in a draw and Manchester City wins Club Brugge, which is likely what will happen, City will still qualify. Should Stuttgart pull a huge surprise by offsetting PSG, then they will qualify for playoff along side Manchester City. Whatever be the case, Manchester City simply have to win Club Brugge and their qualification is certain.

The same way I was analyzing my thoughts towards the game though their performance has not show seriousness on my path because of the lost and draw they play of previous match but I know too well that game of foot ball is just an easy task  what gives me more courage is that if experience as you earlier mentioned I accord they will win based on experience.

Manchester City has been paying very well recently and I believe them winning Chelsea 3:1 has really brought out or increase there confidence, any team they meet now they will play with more confidence which may result to a win, I really don't think Manchester city will go far in this champions League this season because they have lost the confidence to do so, they know they don't have a chance of winning the title, as for Stuttgart and PSG, In terms of recent form, PSG is coming off a significant 4-2 victory against Manchester City, marking their eighth win in ten games. Winger Ousmane Dembele has been particularly impactful, scoring in four consecutive matches and Stuttgart has also been performing well, winning four of their last five matches. However, they have struggled defensively in European competition, keeping only one clean sheet in seven games, PSG are still more inform than Stuttgart and may likely win them tomorrow, but if PSG couldn't win then they will end it in draw because Stuttgart can't win PSG, PSG really wants to win a champions League title but they can't this season because they are not in a good form to defeat barcelona or real Madrid.

Buddy Manchester City has improved a bit, the defeat they got from PSG before Chelsea match is still fresh in our memory, personally I don't see much improvement in the team though there effort should be applauded, atleast they were able to trash Chelsea 3:1 is a good one for them, talking about the UEFA champions League I don't think city will sacle through easily, City are very much unpredictable this time, club brugge is really doing great in their league football, they are occupying the second position in the keague standings with 48 points having played 23 matches so far, though one will say Belgium league is different from English premiership yes I agree and they can also be referred to weaker league aide compared to the English premiership but one thing is certain which is belittling a champions league team, with current form of Manchester City, i don't think this match will be very easy for them to win despite that's a home match for them but we should be expecting more goals in this match because Manchester City defenae isnt in good shape also both teams are acorimg and conceiving teams too.

PSG and stuttgart match is another match to watch, ordinarily I would said PSG will win but considering the present days reality I can't give it all to PSG, though youve already said they are more better than stuttgart which is right but wining that match easily is what I won't say, so lets see what happens.

Manchester City must have seen some of these opportunities at this time so that Pep Guardiola will definitely give his best direction to all the players he has in order to play as well as possible in the last match in this round. Because being able to win in the last match is actually enough for Manchester City to place itself in the Champions League play-off zone, especially if there are several other teams whose positions are very close to Manchester City at this time who also cannot win in their last match in this round, of course it will be very beneficial for Manchester City who are trying to get back into the play-off zone.
Manchester City will face Club Brugge at last games week of Champion League match and its very important match have to win if won't eliminate from playoff round, in other side have advantage for Club Brugge behind get being draw is enough get qualify to playoff round because having 12 points can't catch by Manchester City or Dinamo Zagreb have 8 points awhile.
I think its very crucial match for both teams if won't eliminate early in Champion League and Manchester City get advantage by playing home will all out get three points to qualify playoff round.

The last games week of of phase league of Champion League match will be played simultaneously and bit confuse which one important match have to watch, as Madrid fans keep priority for watching Real Madrid against Brest at last match and wish take three points with other opportunity the higher standings teams awhile loss three points giving opportunity for Madrid reach the top eight standings position.

There is still a chance for Man City to be in the play-off zone, namely if Stuttgart draws with PSG, then Man City can shift its position if the number of goals owned by Man City is more and currently Man City has 2 more goals than Stuttgart even though Man City is out of the play-off zone, and also Benfica vs Juventus matches if Juventus wins then Man City can also get its place, so seeing the situation, Man City should try hard in this competition because it is very unfortunate that a big club like Man City failed to advance to the last 16 of the UCL.

In this last match of course all teams want to maximize the match to claim victory, not only Man City Club Brugge currently also wants to pursue victory, of course they will also try at least not to lose at Man City's home. I think this match will be difficult for Man City because Club Brugge also does not want to lose its place in the Champions, this is what happens, a difficult situation like this will be difficult for both teams, especially Man City, Pep does have a lot of experience in the Champions, he must give his best, but the problem that happened to Man City is the decline in the performance of their players and I think Club Brugge's chances are still wide open.

And I really doubt Man City in this match and I think betting on them is a bit difficult because Club Brugge also cannot be considered easy and I think betting on over will be possible compared to playing 1x2 in this match, because honestly Man City is doubtful even though they have played better lately.

I agree with you. I would give Real Madrid more priority among the title contenders because they have been through a very challenging time. They were performing very poorly at the beginning and the fans were losing faith in their team a lot. Their performance at the beginning of the season disappointed me but they are getting back into the rhythm with time.
They are making a great comeback after defeating Salzburg by a huge margin in the last match and have secured their place in the knockout stage of the Champions Trophy. Now the play-offs will decide whether they can make it to the last 16. The next matches could be more challenging for Madrid but I think they are a very experienced team and they have the ability to win the upcoming matches.
Manchester City are still at the last stage of the Champions Trophy elimination list. They have started counting down the time for their exit with only eight points from seven matches.
All the defenders who played in the regular XI of Real Madrid are suffering from injuries and this has been a big problem for Real Madrid but Real Madrid is slowly managing to come out of that spot.
As time passes, the chances of those key players returning to Real Madrid will increase. But we will see a different Real Madrid when Real Madrid takes the field with their original XI in the next match. Those who are in the current team of Real Madrid will definitely try to make Real Madrid qualify for the next round and I believe Real Madrid will qualify for the next round. When Real Madrid qualifies to the next round, Real Madrid will change the plan and perform in those matches and it will be seen that Real Madrid will be successful by performing in those matches.

Real Madrid have already progressed in La Liga and now only need to do a little better in the Champions League.

The result of this match is very important. It's not just about tickets to the playoffs but also about the reputation of the Manchester City club itself and Pep Guardiola as an extraordinary coach so far. But yes, I am also quite sure that Pep Guardiola will be able to bring Manchester City back to its feet and succeed in beating Club Brugge. Because it would be very surprising if Manchester City also lost to the Brugge club. But for Club Brugge a draw is also enough. So I doubt Club Brugge will play with full attack. I think they will probably pay more attention to their defense. But I will not take risks on the outcome of the match. Because actually I personally am not sure about the results.

Club Brugge will be the final test for Manchester City, and from the odds we can say that the match looks fairly easy for Pep Guardiola side to overcome. With the new signings, Manchester City are starting to look more formidable, and I think Club Brugge will need a lot of luck to secure the points at the Etihad. However, we know how important the 3 points are for both teams, so I still assume that the game will still be troublesome for both teams. Pep Guardiola faces unprecedented pressure during his time at Manchester City, but his ability to handle pressure is unquestionable.

Brugge needs one point to guarantee a place in the top 24, they don't have to win this game. By the way, even if Brugge loses, the probability that they won't make it into the top 24 is extremely low because Stuttgart is playing PSG and there has to be a draw so that all teams have the same number of points and additional indicators come into play. Plus Sporting and Benfica have to win their games. Hopefully these circumstances will allow Brugge to play relaxed and knock City out of the Champions League  Roll Eyes

The fact that club Brugge will likely progress to the knockout stages of this competition if they get a result against Manchester City is the major reason why they're expected to give their best in that game. Pep Guardiola's Manchester City will be the host in that game and considering the quality of players in the team, almost everyone will be expecting them to win but their visitors who knows that they'll be eliminated from the competition if they fail to win or draw and are also the underdogs will want to throw everything at Manchester City knowing fully well that they've got little to lose if they end up getting beaten.
Pep Guardiola I don't think have ever found himself is this kind of situation since his managerial career which is why I think he'll be heavily criticized if they fail to win that game.
I believe Manchester City will put in their best to win this game though it will be a difficult to game for both side, this is a very tough situation for them they might probably be playing this game under pressure knowing that they only have one option which is to win every other option such as draw or lose will be a total knockout for them.
On a normal circumstances despite the poor performance of Manchester City this season club brugge is not a team to be a treat to Manchester City for this are game that Manchester City manager pep Guardiola and the Manchester City team normally use to win with a goal margin of about 5 to 6 goals and and above but at this situation what is more important for them now is 3 points which I know Manchester City will get and advance to the next level in the UEFA Champions league.

There is one scenario I can think of as to how Manchester City could secure a chance to make the playoffs and that is their win against Club Brugge and PSG's win against Stuttgart.
If Manchester City win, they will qualify for the knockout phase play-off and it doesn't matter what happens in PSG vs Stuttgart match.

They have the same points as Stuttgart and follow them right behind.
Same points as Stuttgart? This is wrong.
Stuttgart has 10 points and Manchester City has 8 points.

The game against Club Brugge will be difficult especially when things are not really going well and their win against Chelsea doesn't really mean it will be better because we saw the disappointing performance of the Blues on that game. I believe the Club Brugge team/manager must have watch the match between City and Chelsea, and must have seen the errors by the Blues thereby making ways to avoid them.
If we look at the stats on the UCL matches, Club Brugge looks better than Man City. They got 3 wins, 2 draws, and 2 losses. Meanwhile Man City only got 2 wins, 2 draws, and 3 losses. Also, Club Brugge is in 2nd place on his domestic league (Belgian Pro League). However, Man City is surely better if we consider the squad quality, Man City is playing in the most competitive league in the world as well. In addition, the match will be held in Man City home, too. This will bring an advantage for Man City, they have an extra motivation to win because they don't want to get a lose in front of their home base fans and Man City board. Another advantage, Man City will be easy to prepare everything because they don't need to go anywhere. And I think Man City players' mentality is better now after they got some positive results on the few latest matches. So, based on these considerations, I assume Man City can deal with the situation and beat Club Brugge. It may not be an easy match, but Man City probably can win with narrow score at least.

In every match, there will be always unexpected situation but Pep must have prepared anything for the prevention. And surely a manager or coach of each team must learn the matches of their opponents, it is something usual. Not only for Club Brugge manager/coach, it also applies for Pep Guardiola as a manager/coach of Man City.

Their weakness in UCL puts them at great risk. The defeat to PSG leaves City outside the play-off zone, statistically, their chances of staying in the UCL are still there, although slim and very dependent on luck in the final game. City, who are currently in 25th place must win against Club Brugge in their final game and hope Stuttgart or the team above them do not win.
Regarding the chances of finishing in the top four of the EPL, I still believe in their abilities.
Manchester City still has the ability to take one of the places in the top four of the EPL, but we must not forget the other three teams whose points are very close to Manchester City's points and that can also be a challenge and pressure for the City team this season. While in the Champions League City's ability must really be able to increase in order to win and they can have a chance to qualify for the next round although the playoff match must also be better because that is the decisive match to enter the last 16 of the Champions League.
Man City this season is indeed slumping and getting worse when they experienced a painful defeat from PSG in the 7th match yesterday. Before this match, it might be true statistically and Man City players are superior. But at the same time Man City also repeated the same mistake, too easy and like there was no tight guard when PSG players made a quick counterattack. And that was proven when PSG was able to equalize in just 7 minutes, even after that they were able to take the lead first in the 78th minute and finally in the 90+3 minute PSG was able to lock in the victory.

Who knows what happened to players like Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias and Manuel Akanji. because their performance in that match was very bad. after that Pep Guardiola's strategy lately has always been wrong, if later he can qualify for the play-off round Pep Guardiola must be able to fix this and the players must be able to show their best game later.

Because Man City's door to qualify for the play-off round is still very wide. Man City cannot afford to draw or lose against Club Brugge, and Liverpool will not hesitate to beat their last opponent to open up a chance for Man City to climb to the top. In addition, Juventus will not hesitate to slaughter Benfica, and the result is that Man City will qualify with a ranking of 22 or more so that they qualify for the play-off round. Regarding the Domestic league with the current revival of Man City, I am sure they will finish in the top four at the end of the season.
