I thought I was the only one thinking about his retirement. He's good, he's made his own history, but it's time to say goodbye. He's going to be a coach, create his own group, something like that so he doesn't have to stop for good, but I don't think he has the energy to fight anymore.

He chooses to fight a weary 40 yr old fighter as his retirement fight. It's his choice but it will definitely be a thing that will not stop even when he gets old.

If Jones faces any fighter who is a little more skilled and faster, I believe he won't be able to fight. I feel he no longer has the energy he once had and it's better to retire soon if he's not going to perform well. There's no point in just living in the past and in titles he can no longer fight for.

I dont know if he is better, we didnt see him in octagon for a long time and that can affect all fighters differently.
If someone wants to bet on Jones to win than go ahead but I am not touching that low odds but I waiting to see if bookies post more special bets.
I am expecting to see great fight from both of them and maybe one fighter announce retirement.
 

Really good card so far with this UFC Vegas 100 having several knockouts and the last one was Charlie Radtke finishing his in 51 seconds.
His interview in the octagon was very inspiring saying how he knocked out this fool and he will clean out this division.
Pretty funny if you happen to catch it clipped after the event is done.

The Ricky Turcios vs Bernardo Sopai bout was cancelled before this started so no co-main event for tonight.

It wasn't the first time Dana told the world about Jones being the best p4p fighter in UFC, it's a meme already despite Jones ducking Tom. The belt is not even important anymore, it has no value. Ngannou has one and Tom also has one so why bother making the Tom vs Jones fight happen?

I haven't really watched Dana speak during Trump's speech but I wouldn't wonder if Trump made the guy go up the stage to say something. Dana been one of the big supporters of Trump. Dana isn't a complete douchebag except Jones does have a pic of him stroking his pole.  

I think he meant the UFC Fight Night card last week which took place in Edmonton up in Canada.
Not many people cared for this fight and it has completely vanished from their minds already.
It was utter dog shit and never want to talk about it nor see these fighters on the main card again.

I'd bet on Jon Jones but 1.14 is too low odd to risk but at the same time, I believe that Dana White wouldn't pick a bad fight for Jon Jones, he doesn't want him to lose. If Jon Jones loses, then Dana White will go insane.

It's a waste, you would rather go for Jones by KO because that's the highest chance it may ever happen. Didn't you hear it over and over from Dana that Jones is the greatest GOAT in UFC?

For the two, this is the only belt to fight for. Ngannou and Aspinall, each of them has their own too.

I also think that Miocic is better than Jones today. I think it's worth betting against Jones, he was out of action, injured and if we know him well he spent a few days partying. So, I really believe that Miocic will win and Jones will start thinking about his retirement, if he doesn't already retire in case of defeat.

Not bad upcoming UFC event and I am interested to see few fights other than main event, but I am really waiting for next weekend mega fight Jones vs Miocic.
I was waiting to see this fight for years and I hope they both stay healthy and avoid last minute injuries.

If he has an intense fight like the fighters in his group, then the favoritism should come true. From what I saw, the most interesting fight is this one, but everyone is watching and the odds have already dropped a lot, it really is better to do multiples. I really believe that it can be decided on points.

Carlos Prates had already heard about them, but I'm going to consider the previous ones you mentioned so I can see if there's any chance of betting on this fight. But it needs to be very clear, because I'm going to want to bet a lot on the next numbered card, very anxious indeed.

There are plenty of fights to look forward too on this Vegas card as we all know the UFC corresponds with these numbers to level of fighters on the cards every hundred achieved. For example UFC 300 so of course with this one being UFC Vegas 100.

The first name that stuck out to me was Ricky Turcios he is a really good fighter so one to watch out for.
These are the others:
Reinier de Ridder, Nicolas Dalby, Matthew Semelsberger(who just had a fight in contention for FOTY) and Da'Mon Blackshear.
Of course Carlos Prates one from the Fighting Nerds club.

Are there any interesting fights on this upcoming card? I didn't watch the last one because there wasn't anything different or exciting. I hope I didn't miss anything. I hope the next numbered card comes soon so we can have some fun.

Glad we have this one to wash our palettes from the last fight night because as you can see from the post by rohang, it was pretty bad. And that was one of the very first fights of the night mind you.
Even the main and co main were screwed up. They mismatched those fighters who were unbalanced to face off with eachother from the very start.
Blanchfield's wrestling was too dominate to square off with a pure striker like Namajunas who is no longer fighting at Straw weight but at Flyweight. And the main event was not even a fair fight with Amir Albazi who was put into this matchup after him having major surgery on his spine and not fighting in nearly two years. Being put in a main event is something unreal. This showed as Moreno put a clinic on him and took all the scorecards in the end.

So there is a UFC event today, wasn't so sure they were going to schedule it so completely missed it as this is a rather busy weekend.
There were three fighters who didn't make weight from what I hear. And with rohang mentioning about Derrick Lewis not even showing up to the arena. This just goes to show you that not even the fighters want to be there.
But quickly looking at the card it is one to pass if your not addictive in needing to bet on each and every single card the UFC has been forced to put together so to meet the annual quota in their obligation to TKO.

If I was to place a bet I would on the Co-main and main event just by looking at the fighters.
Thug Rose to win and Brandon Moreno to win their fights outright without having the judges getting involved.

Cancellation of fights regularly happens nowadays in UFC but not during the fight day. They are saying he had a non-weight-cutting-related medical issue. It's crazy that this cancellation happened on fight night. This must be disappointing to the people buying tickets to watch his balls overheat.

Diniz seems promising and this should have been a good fight if Diniz's opponent knows how to grapple. I guess Derrick had just avoided a big loss.
