I do not think it completely lied to us. The site's rating is not really accurate. That's why we need to do our own research. Don't believe anything too much
Yes dont trust to anyone. Only trust yourself and make a decision based on your research and studies.Dont stop learning new things because only knowlegde is our power to avoid scam project.
In the electronic money market, each decision will involve profit or loss. The competition and fraud are increasing ... So, I totally agree with the view: We can not trust anyone!

Sometimes their own research does not help, it is very difficult to distinguish between good signs and project scams. But for beginners, any information is useful and I think they also need such a plan information. 
Totally agree we don't need to base in ICO ratings because it's not measuring if the project become successful or not. Doing a your own research is best way to know what is potential and not to avoid losing your money because you need to believe to yourself not to other people and any website.
Its inappropriate to tell us that ratings are lies, they rate the project based don't base on overall status and trend instead they analyze the project and tell people how they see the project and it does not mean that if the ratings are high the project will be successful sometimes you have to know what is the current trend and how will gain advantage over it.
Having higher ratings doesn't mean the project will be as successful as other does, it only tells us about how good the project not the future of it.

ICO rating site's is cannot be trusted because there are some projects that pays them just to get a big ratings,and also even if they are listed on the listing website but we cannot guarantee that the project is legit,some of them are scam that's why we need to make our own research to avoid scam projects.
I agree. ICO ratings means no bearing since they are being paid or sponspored by ICO's themselves. The sad rhing is that they deny it but in reality they make a living by telling lies. How could someone rate a coin if the product is not being tested yet. ICO ratings are lies. If you notice, scam ICO's always have a high rating by trusted reviews.
On a more serious note, the rate in which people keep abusing this opportunity tensed me, we are seeing lot of scam ICOs everyday by day all because the technology is decentralized , and doing so is spoiling the image of the technology as we all need to fight it, rating ico are just fun to me the main thing depend on the team integrity , not even their profile checking or any other info about them but their real them of really want to provide solution and not creating more problem.
It is usually normal to invest in the cryptocurrency market. Many people will tell you which one is good and which one is about to take off, but in fact they just want to deceive you or they themselves are deceived. This is a butterfly effect. It must be judged on its own.

Your statement is very true. Because in reality, ICO projects can pay a very high price to make their ICO scores look perfect on some ICO Listing Sites, and this does not guarantee the success of the ICO. In essence, we can only depend on ourselves about it and rely on our own research to achieve something maximally. Goodluck!! 
The biggest problem that we have in the cryptocurrency industry is lack of trust. Many people are in here with bad intentions and they take advantage of the vulnerable ones in the industry.So, in the end, the vulnerable crypto population turn to lose interest as their funds are stolen from them.So no one can actually be trusted in crypto so all one need to do is just open his or her eyes when you are doing anything.
We know that trust is the most important. That's why we need to be careful to give it to anyone, honestly for me we can't trust 100% anyone here in crypto, because there's a lot of people was has bad intentions like scamming people to gain money. The only person you can trust is yourself.
That is true, only own research is worth something. But, we people (especially those involved with crypto) like to take a few shortcuts to spare time in order to spend it elsewhere more productive. But if that means investing in poor ICO, because we took that shortcut, what exactly did we do then? Nothing. So, a mix of both taking shortcuts and doing your own research is essential.

I always do my own research berfore investing in ICO, you can't trust the ICO rating because they cannot be a reference in finding a good ICO.
That would be the right thing to do as investor, don't solely rely on ICO reviews as they are just a company wanting to earn with their rating. I wonder why ICO ratings considered a factor in a success of an ICO. The one who does the review is not even an investor of that ICO.

I cannot fully agree with you. Ofcourse you cannot trust any site or any peoe. But still there are some good and trusted websites with ICO ranking.

Not all ICOs are successful and even if we have the most accurate review still it does not guarantee success of the ICOs but it helps though in determining possibilities. I would agree that there are really scams so that reviews may sometimes help but do not focus more of your attention on it because scams ride on reviews to make them more appear realistic and successful. So you are right never trust anyone.
In fact, this is the law of any market. Wherever there is money, there can be no one hundred percent trust. You should always rely only on yourself.
