I like Telegram because it is so versatile for the crypto community. It is true that it has its flaws in relation to bots and scammers who are lurking. But it is easy to identify them, we must be more cunning than they are to keep us safe.
I'm a long time user of Telegram and I have never heard the association of frauding in Telegram. I know there are a lot of scammers, especially in the cryptocurrency space, but not immediately thought of when asked about Telegram. I have found more people who knows Telegram, amazed by the sticker creation rather than the people using Telegram to scam.

Telegram is just a platform, it's like a world that we are living, there are good people and bad people, or the best example, is it's like facebook, there are scammers also.
We can't do anything about it but to just be educated so we are aware of the scams and we can make the right action if they attempt to scam us. In most of the crowdsale the team always create a telegram channel for their announce and communication, therefore you can expect that scammers are just watching us and they find people with less knowledge to be their victims.

Scammers in Telegram, well, there are scammers without Telegram, just why position a beautiful creation like Telegram with scammers, Telegram is a multi-functional tool with the ability to create a bot and a lot of other functionality, but as the question comes to do something useful through Telegram, many say telegram and there are scammers.
Telegram has nothing to do with the cooperation with the scammer. Telegram is just trying to provide more features to be used by its users. You should not blame the telegram as it knows nothing about that. The scammer has used the features on the wrong way caused by the intention to use it to scam people and no more. What is still lacking on the telegram is it was taking a long time to give a ban when we were reporting scammers or scam group.
Telegram is filled with scamming chat groups and channels, some pose as traders with the consistent result, I never fail to block them, they can sell that for the greedy. Some scammers host airdrop to steal bitcoin and ETH, because people don't listen to instructions, they get scammed.

It looks like you have been scammed? Not just Telegram, but Youtube as well have been home for scammers in the last couple of years. That's why we should be very wary and careful of everyone we chatted on Telegram because they might be scammers after all. And don't blindly trust anyone as well, we are all anonymous here. So if ever you have been scam, then consider that a lesson. just saying.

Right, but just like any other social media sites we have, Telegram have been exploited as well by the cyber crooks to lure and victimised people specially beginners. It is being used by large groups to create bots and they we have the cyber criminals, give fake promotions and fake give aways. And then impersonations, so as users of Telegram you must be very very careful who you talking to, because you don't know, maybe one day you will fall for their trick.

The fraudsters take this opportunity and send scam message to group members.
