Telegram was created to communicate people easily so the only fault for that is the scammer because they using as instrument the telegram to scam people or the investords.
Many scammers in the telegram so people need to be vigilant of what they joining and investing because people are don't aware once they want to get more profit they invested even they are risky to invest.

I don't really think that criminals and fraudsters only use Telegram, it's more about the encryption behind it and security.
Also used by regular people, but fraudsters prefer not to have their conversations easily decoded. Basically anybody can use it to communicate.
However, there are much more secure apps to communicate than Telegram.

Because everyone is anonymous here, you only need a phone number to create and account and getting a new mobile number is not hard, plus telegram takes great care of encrypted communication, so it protects its users but also give greater chance to scammers.
well, I totally agree with you, there are a lot of weaknesses of telegram because to be able to create a telegram account only requires a smartphone number which in my opinion is still very cheap to get so many fraudsters roam the telegram that have cryptocurrency business.

The fact that these scammers could spam people so easily in telegram also contributes to that. I think telegram should review their rules once more regarding spamming. I know it's client to client encryption but they should atleast make it harder for people to repeat the same message again and again. Indeed we can set our privacy so that these scammers can't invite us into random group but it's just that. Accoutn flagging feature will really help if telegram could.

Right, the fraudsters took advantage of the opportunity by creating fake accounts that were similar to the development team, the exchange team,etc. We must be vigilant, make sure that you understand the rules that the admin and dev team will not make PM first. So if an admin or dev team or exchange sends you a PM, you can be sure that it is a scammer. Don't forget to be blocked and reported.

Telegram is not associated with fraudsters let's get it straight. For the fact that fraudulent actions are carried out on telegram does not in anyway show they're associated with such act. People engage in fraud on telegram because they're many cryptocurrency users there with every cryptocurrency project having their group and channels its easy to defraud unsuspecting users.
generally telegram fraud is very easy to reach, as we often see on telegram channels, you can create hundreds or even thousands of messages through bots in a short amount of time. so don't be surprised if fraudsters use this method to commit fraud.
You're correct in the telegram scammers can easily hit a large number of users because they using bots and send this same message within a few seconds. There are both advantages and disadvantages use of it. I got a lot of private message in every day which are mostly scammed. It’s a anonymous community even though users can easily change all of profile information it’s seems bullshit.

The decentralized social media will have such disadvantages so I prefer semi-decentralized social media platforms for this reason. Many users try to cheat the newbies with sending the too good to be true offers and inexperienced traders fall to this trap easily. If there is no report by the Telegram users, the scammers will run free with robbed funds, fraudsters are not stupid to use the centralized social media and get arrested with giving up their real IP address.

Scammers in Telegram, well, there are scammers without Telegram, just why position a beautiful creation like Telegram with scammers, Telegram is a multi-functional tool with the ability to create a bot and a lot of other functionality, but as the question comes to do something useful through Telegram, many say telegram and there are scammers.
According to my humble opinion there is nothing wrong with telegram or any other social media channel. Scammers and fraudulent elements are everywhere. But there could be more filters to reduce their activities can be e implemented. Moreover, we should perform our responsibility responsibility to report them to cleanup the environment.
