This is a common fear but Bitcoin is gaining a lot of popularity now and has survived for nearly 9 years.
To tell you frankly I think bitcoin will be replace by any other cryptocurrency if users and investors of bitcoin will transfer to this emerging cryptocurrency and diverting all their trust and investments to this new cryptocurrency that will replace bitcoin. The most popular and most trusted cryptocurrency will always prevail until then.
Bitcoin is very popular nowadays in the market and most of those doing online marketing specially online buying were proposing that they may be linked to bitcoin technology adaptation. In the coming years as the technology progress went high a possibility that will happen to those online companys.
Yes its just like a chain reaction, amazon today is using a cryptocurrency payment method in order to earn bitcoins because they also believe that there is a huge chance for bitcoins to bloom in the future and they want their own company to rise as well.
It is very difficult to overcome bitcoin. It is the most popular crypto and overcoming it will not be a easy task.

Undoubtedly bitcoin will stay for a very longer duration of the time but then it will have to maintain itself on the top position with the necessary up gradations, adding new features, ensuring the security of those who have less knowledge about hash system or the wallet usage and keeping the trust of the people very high because if these things aren’t maintained in the future then obviously people will go to other platforms for their good. 
there's every reason to believe that. there is even an example, Google was not the first search engine, amazon - was not the first online store. Bitcoin will either become unpopular and become very cheap and disappear, or it will become a means of accumulation and will not be used for transactions, as is already quietly happening now. In any case distribute its assets, you will not regret it
At present, I don't see any other currency that can match bitcoin. The bitcoin has been the best and continue to be so in the near future. Some established altcoins have made good progress such as Neo, Ethereum, and Litecoin.

Bitcoin marketcap currently count for more than 42% of over 1500 coins and tokens, with a very dominant marketcap this is certainly difficult for any coin to beat bitcoin, but I have to be realistic that anything can happen.
ETH will replace it I think but ETH it s the oly one that could replace it

Everything can happen, some predictable coins can replace bitcoin is Ethereum, Ripple, Monero and so on. but I'm sure this happens in no in a short time, it may take at least 5 years from now.

I think it's possible. But it is hard to see a cryptocurrency that can replace bit in a short time. Now that bitcoin is developing very well, it is still the king of all the COINS in the encryption market, and it has the largest share of the entire encryption market.
There isn't another cryptocurrency that can replace bitcoin. It's the first of it's kind and it will always lead the market as number one.
Although Bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency which made using decentralized Blockchain architecture, it does not mean that it will be the all-time “champion” when challenged with newer technology. However as of now, bitcoin is the most reliable and most populate coin in the crypto world. Then it is very difficult to rise up other coin over bitcoin.
