I checked your issue and figured out that your account was blocked because you have tried to use the unverified card with Paypal.

"Q. I want to link your card to PayPal, how can I do that?
A. Please find the detailed instructions in this article. Make sure your card is verified."

And for now there are only 2 possible ways:
1. Complete verification to unblock your account.
Please follow the steps described in this article for account verification: https://help.wirexapp.com/hc/en-us/articles/207161719-How-and-why-to-verify-Wirex-account-

2. Fill the document for the manual card unload. In this case, we return your funds to the Wirex bitcoin wallet and completely close your card. The support agent can help you with this option.

More details were provided by the agent in your ticket.

I registered to wirex 2 weeks ago, they gave me a free Virtual Card without asking me to verify myself.

I funded my card, now they blocked it claiming they're protecting me, now my money is blocked.

I feel that site is scam, beware, do not fund money on their cards cause they blocks them after that.
My virtual card was blocked as well few weeks ago, fortunately i did not have any balance on card or had any bitcoin there. i have stopped using them, since they require ID proofs/don't serve the country i live in. did you contact support? what did they say? i hope you get your money back (without having to go through ID verification  Undecided).

It is not a problem to verify myself, in fact I sent them my documents when I noticed it was required, the problem is that I'm afraid they're scam cause it doesn't make any sense to provide a card that requires verification and then block it because you haven't verified your identity. This can only be explained with the fact they're trying to steal customers money.

Yes, I contacted the support and I got a template email back: "We pause your account to first protect your assets, your money and protect your account".

This is not particular case and there is no other solution than prompt refund. Your support team winds people up by talking nonsense. There is no need to talk to them anymore. Group of Wirex victims gathered to start legal action and you will be informed about details right after holidays.

When is wirex going to have another debit card that works for the rest of the world? I don't care about contactless cards etc. I just want a card that works in an ATM because I live in Japan.

I can't believe wirex I have been with them for quite awhile and when they transitioned from MasterCard to visa I requested a refund on my card and got it.
I eventually bought 1 plastic card and 2 virtual card later down the line. I find them disabled I have barely used them. With no info on when exactly the new cards will come I requested a refund on those cards. I expected a refund for such an obvious situation but nope. They refused my refund stating to wait for the new cards. Are you serious I expect my money back on the cards that I bought barely used and now unusable because of their new terms. Ridiculous
If I wanted go wait refund me and I will buy the cards later.

We don't see any problems with your account, it is active. But please note that you have enabled 2FA security.

In order to reset your password, you need to use reset password link provided below:  https://app.wirexapp.com/forgot-password

As well, please note  following:

- Do not use capital letters while entering an email address. 
- If you do not receive password reset link please check your spam folder.
- Alternatively, please clean your web-browser history and cookies or try to use another device. 
- If you unable to receive reset password message make sure that your provider didn’t block our email domain

Please write to [email protected] to create a ticket if the issue persists.

I adjusted my clock on my phone it was 2 minutes off (time on google 02:49 pm, time on my phone 02:51 pm). That helped. So clocks must be running at same time. I didn't have any problems with other accounts though.
