Hey there,

are there any news on OECD's CRS?

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.16486676

Do you know if it affects (WaveCrest) e-money, especially your debit card?

Thank you for providing this service!

LoveBTC

the latest comments from WaveCrest were as follows:

unfortunately we cannot give you any specific answer at the moment as we ourselves  are waiting for final comment from the Ministry of Finance on whether E-Money companies such as WC would be exempt from reporting. We hope it will happen quite soon and we will be able to clarify it for you as well.

My deposit with BTC has almost 100 confirmations and it's still in pending status . Totally dissapointed , i'm paying a 3% fee to have my money the time i want them and not when your system decides to . My case is 58005 .

This issue has already been solved by the support team. Please check your account.

Hi Wirex, I would like to ask you one thing. Is there any problem with the deposits of bitcoins? Because I'm trying to generate a new btc address but every time it fails.

Their system is from 1970s, it will work, but only if you give it good 10-20 minutes per action. I was unloading my card to btc and took me good 40 minutes to complete my action. Trying to transfer my bitcoin from ecoin to my wallet for 20 minutes already, just watch a tv series or something while it's generating. It's fun to see other providers who are pretty new to the game have flawlessly working system and wirex/e-coin can't fix theirs for years  Smiley

Edit : Here we go again, a pending transaction stuck on wirex, classic situation. Time to make a ticket and wait 2 weeks for response, oh yes!

it's not the system, it's the blockchain. Delays with deposits and transfers are the backside of having individual wallets rather than all users' funds sitting in the same hot wallet. It offers more security, but due to the imperfection of the blockchain itself, such architecture sometimes results in delayed transactions.

We are currently re-considering it, but would you 100% trade security for speed?..

Hello @Wirex.

I'm interested in buying bitcoins with my PayPal and then withdraw via ATM with the physical debit card.

1) I'm from Colombia. Can I do this without problems?
2) I see the Wirex website isn't functional yet. Can I order a debit card at e-Coin and it will work OK in the future?

Thanks.

1) It depends on PayPal in each particular country. Suggest you check with their support if it is ok to try loading your Wirex card. If yes, then there are no further limitations
2) For the time being, please, use the Wirex App in Apple Store or Google Play or https://e-coin.io if you need a desktop version. If you order the card now, it will work absolutely the same when wirexapp.com goes live

the service is now fraud i believe

i got 382.28 pound on my card and they block my card

it's been 2 months since i ask them to refund me my money
send alot of tickets no answer these are the latest #55464 and #46381 and alot but no reply

would any one help me

you tried to load your unverified card via PayPal, which is no longer allowed by the bank (has been the case for several months now), which has led to the bank blocking your account - we had nothing to do with it, either with the attempted load (not via our platform, but via 3rd party), nor with the block itself.

We are trying to resolve this with the bank, but they don't have the procedure for refund, the only straightforward way to get the money is to verify the account and the pending amount will be loaded.

We will certainly keep trying, but it is not really correct of you to blame us for your own mistake..

It most of the time has nothing to do with their system or servers but with the banks they are dealing with , think of them like an intermediate between you and the bank.

I can understand that , but their support could at least send a reply to my ticket or tehy could make an announcement that are facing some problems . Their behavior is totally unprofessional .

hi mate,

you are not paying any fee for depositing the BTC. The issue will be looked into shortly. You only sent the ticket today, so, it's a bit early to panic or complain

I need help with 2 issues:

1. my account was hacked and they stolen 3 btc I sent numerous requests to get back access to my account. They changed the password and implemented 2 steps verification. Please answer my support tickets #54589, #54614, #54583, #54678, #54611
2. Why is the BTC address for deposit not changing? I have the same BTC address to deposit every time. This is not good, security issues, Please make it change every time like it used to do (generate a new one on every deposit)

Why would you even keep your btc at wirex when they have not the best feedback lately? I am trying to recover 3 btc myself from them that they have stuck in "Pending" and will most likely move to other debit card issuer.

I did not, I put 3 BTC, exchange them to Euro to my card so I can cash them. This was at 1AM, at 1PM they hacked the account, buy back 3 btc and transferred them. I did not have the chance to cash them out

Well, that's on you for not securing your account properly tbh.
