If you are not wagering any money or reputation, then you are not gambling IMO. There has to be something on the line. What you are trying to send players to is a prediction game. They might be fun to participate in but should not be considered "gambling".

Is it a country-specific website? If yes, do you know which ones are restricted?

Maybe if it turns out successful for the companies involved, they may consider extending the service to other countries, and some other gambling companies in your country may adopt it.

Gamble responsibly
My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?
Gambling means to take risky action or to use something valuable or money to bet. If you play game for free to win something without anything used that can lead to loss, you are not risking anything, which just means that it is not gambling. But it can be a strategy you can be lured with by a gambling site for you to join the gambling site and begin to gamble.

What I know is that DSTV is located in South Africa and it provides services to countries in Africa.

As long as there would be risk and as long you would lose or gain something in return, that would be gambling. What makes gambling ,"gambling" is the lsck of assurance with the outcome either you lose or win. To some people, gambling would be only categorized once there's money involved but technically, money is just the usual mode of payment and not the bottomline, it is rather the thing that would be an exchange of your bet. It could be in form of favor, other object and such as long as there would be a player to lose something while the other one is gaining or celebrating. In platforms ofcourse currencies would take place as long ws risk is there, with profit in return.

In my opinion.

Everything you do, activity and other think on the casino are gambling. You're not gambling now, but there has some chance you are gonna to gambling soon in the future. The temptation are high, If you are stay on gambling sector.

So, I call it gambling. It's promotion, you get free money soon you're losing then are gonna triggered you to deposit.

Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

I think yes as you are predicting the future and predicting the future it is called gambling because no one can predict the future correctly always, sometimes we see and choose the favorite team to win in a sport event but most of the time everybody is on a losing run.

This can also increase your desire to start real gambling with real money once you get used to it so even if it is not called gambling in the beginning,it has super high chances leading you to gambling so I would put this in the gambling category.

However, yes I'd call it gambling because you're predicting something and not getting the money directly, I mean for doing nothing. Even though you're not putting your own money on it, you're getting a reward for staking your 0 money bet through your prediction and you win if what you predicted comes out to be true.
I'd compare it with the free spins that we get on websites, or the no-deposit bonuses with which we can play some specific games and even keep as well as cashout our winnings (some websites need just 1x wagering to withdraw). So it's just the same, you're gambling but without including your money there.
