I still have no problems using this wallet. I do work with small amounts, I would certainly not risk high amounts.

By the way, they will ask you for ID card, hand-held ID card photo, bank card, bank statement, handheld APP ID photo, 2 inch photo, utility bill only to sell it via blackmarket
That is what I was thinking, they get more out of the people that they are scamming, it seems like they are data mining these poor users that had their money and identity swindled by the same group. And this thing can't be denied because multiple users seems to agree that Freewallet is a scam website. There are a lot of websites that are acting this way for awhile now and it is an alarming rate because any website that you have trusted might pull a fast one on you and ask for the impossible KYC.

I've been using this wallet for a while and never had any issues. I must say that I always keep relatively small amounts, it could be. I personally have not experienced any problems with freewallet.org
Good for you that you are not a victim of this website, a lot of users have flagged this user and it seems unusual visit for a happy client for a website that has been bombarded with accusations that have proofs.

This is one of the main threads against you. And Im tired of seeing complains. I see that since my post you got another trusted negative. When will you learn? Do you need to get arrested to change your practices? Your identity is all on the internet for anyone to check it. Soon or later you will end bad. Its amazing that you are still online with so many complains.

11 negative from trusted forum members. Using alts to post support to their business: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54541963. Scam practices of demanding documents from customers with high balance to try their luck and see if some dont send them. Freewallet seems a very legitimate business. Trust them with your money if you want to lose it.

Dear author of this post, do you think the reviews https://cryptogeek.info/en/wallets/freewallet of your wallet users are objective? They are radically different from the reviews on this forum.
Ever heard about paid or fake reviews?
I just read through the review and it's fake and bullshit. If they are not scammers then why do we have so many individuals complaining about foul play by Freewallet. It's not like freewallet is not the only custodial wallet around. Why are we not getting this many complaints about other wallets.

Looks at a few complied complaints around the forum. This can't be a coincidence.

Just wanted to draw the attention of all reading this post,

We've replied to each complaint right under this list: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54452971.

1) I was not offered to create a pin, you just installed it. I did not confirm anything, just when I tried to log into my account I received a request to enter a PIN. Which I do not know.
2) All communication with your experts (dozens of letters) ultimately boils down to the fact that I am asked to send my photos, photos of my documents, other photos. Not only do I don’t want to send such my data to you, I also don’t understand how it is connected with my account: you are not happy with my report, where did the money from the wallet go from, you are not happy with my report where the money was transferred from the wallet but for some reason my photo and photo of my documents supposedly suit you. Is this nonsense? How do you check in my personal photo that the account is really mine?

Dear Viccc,

PIN code is a personal information, which you are prompted to create upon your first login session. We have no access to it but we can reset it for you and you can create a new one. The procedure for resetting the PIN code requires providing our specialists with certain information. These photos will help us to verify you as the owner of this account.
Please note that no one (except the account owner) has access to it.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi Viccc,

Checking your support ticket, I see that our team is in touch with you following the standard procedure for PIN code recovery. Since you attempted to log in after the PIN feature has been deployed, you were prompted to create a PIN code and then confirm it.

We are committed to helping you recover access to your account, please get back to our specialist with the required information to confirm you as the rightful account owner.

We sent you an email to follow up, please check your inbox.

FreeWallet is not a wallet and is not free.

A wallet will not charge you a fee for use, when you send most of the coins you will pay a network fee that will go to miners, not to the wallet.

A wallet will not ask you for KYC or proof of income.

FreeWallet is misleading, is not a wallet and is not free

Freewallet stole all my funds. After they entered the PIN code feature, I could not get into the account (login and password are correct, I do not know only the PIN code, last visited the wallet to withdraw funds before the PIN code feature in 2018). After correspondence with support (ticket ID is 199302 ) and providing me with all the transaction data (mining from flypool and sometimes transferred to my poloniex), they simply blacklisted me:

You always joking...

At first, I'm sorry for you that you do not have an honorable job.

You are not able to answer my question because you don't have an answer. Nobody access in my Gmail with the high level of security...
I understood You have very high experience in this case as you had similar cases already... but you made a mistake.... a very big mistake.... do you know what was?

I know well you scared to answer.... why?

Any answer in my question (What information you send my Gmail at that time and give me exact time and date??) will harm your fake business. So you prefer to excuse the answer each time. You worry about Gmail team. They never confirm delivering the email that you mentioned.

What information you sent to my Gmail at that time and give me the exact time and date?

Still, waiting for your answer and you must answer here in front of users of the current website...

Show the user of this website who you are? We understand your bad situation. This time is not similar to the previous...You don't have a choice. answer!

Lying after lying

Hello,

As for the contact information, kindly refer to Clause 8:

https://freewallet.org/processing

We understand your deep frustration with the situation.
However, the on-chain transactions out of your account have already been completed, we are unable to retrieve it. Keeping 2FA protection enabled is crucial when you are handling transactions with such considerable amounts.
As you know, some exchanges have even made this feature mandatory for all their users.
We hope that you will focus on ensuring the highest possible security on your accounts after this incident.

Since access to your email was gained by the third party (a hacker), it could lead to change and removal of important details. We are here to assist as far as it comes to the investigation procedure initiated upon a relevant request of local authorities.

That's all the information that we can share at the moment.

We are always available for further official queries on our support channels.

Regards,
Freewallet.

Are you stupid? Why I have to waste my time. Reply to my previous email.
Answere my question here.
"Your team said my Gmail hacked too at the same time (joking?). If you right, give me exact Time and Date that your server sends mentioned email " or proof your claim. Already I proof nobody accesses my Gmail.

Return back my coin immediately. We will shut down your fake business.

REEWallet.org is a SCAM!!
Scammers site Link:https://freewallet.org/
Amount Scammed:120,000 USDT

Freewallet is a SCAM.
They use all the unusual activities as an excuse to steal the user’s money.
I have provided screenshots of all trading blocks and transactions.
They are looking for various reasons to verify me, and the requirements are very unusual.
I submitted
ID card, hand-held ID card photo, bank card, bank statement, handheld APP ID photo, 2 inch photo, utility bill

To ensure the security of the account, why does registration do not require so many frequent authentications?
We use the FREEWallet account to have a digital currency to perform frequent security authentication.

Hello wanghenlen,

No worries: your account is totally safe. We are running the verification procedure and reviewing the documents you've sent. Thanks for providing us with extensive information on your account, it helped a lot.
We'll be in touch with you until the procedure is over to make sure your withdrawal will be as smooth as possible.

As usual Freewallet is demanding document after document without explaining the reason why there were doubts about the customer in the first place. You have to love to harass your users and trash your reputation because every month we have another case of a freewallet customer complaining about your out of the blue verification process. As usual is always accounts with high balance. I am amazed that someone still is willing to trust you with a cent. Better solve this or I will have to change my feedback from neutral again to RED.

Hello,

You were one of the testimonies of a completed verification case yourself. Because the amount is not small, we want to make sure we are doing everything for safety and preventing illicit activities.

Hello

I don't know you understand what I said or not? Have you ever read the story or not? You and your team are not able to answer my question. I never get the mentioned email.

Your team said my Gmail hacked too at the same time (joking?). If you right, give me exact Time and Date that your server sends mentioned email (Never and never sent. Because somebody changed my confirmation email at your website without my confirmation).

Several times I ask you for this information and each time you give a vague answer. Why?

Answer me here and provide us a link to your website that your address appears there. why you scare? Just give me your office address and manager name.

Several times I get similar this answered from your team: “our team will forward your request to the right person”

You are not responsible in front of the clients that trusted you. I'm not the only victim but hope to be final.

Please note that: You are harming your business by yourself not anybody else. You are not able to remove the story by wasting time.

Hello Ali,

The address and the email can be found on our website here: https://freewallet.org/processing Here is also described the procedure for processing legal requests. Please note they will not be carried out on social media platforms.

We can confirm that someone gained access to your email. Should you need anything else, let us know via email as described on our website.

Just let me know the exact time and date that your server sends a confirmation email for these transactions to my Gmail. easily we may ask the Gmail team to confirm the mentioned email has been delivered or not. My account was secure with 2 step verification by Gmail. I can show here. Do you want?

Hello

Free Wallet Team is Scammer. Do not trust them.
See the following story

Hi Ali,

We understand you want to hunt down the guilty one for hacking your account, however, you are spreading false information across the Internet harming our business. Unfortunately, the hacker was able to withdraw your funds out of Freewallet and we are unable to retrieve them. If you would like to submit a report with the local authorities, please do so. In addition, we would like to emphasize that your account wasn't fully protected with all the available security features available in the app.

Gald to see your issue is solved and also appreciate the effort from Freewallet to handle the issue.

I would advise you to edit the thread title to SOLVED, as I have seen some articles from Freewallet claiming that Bitcointalk threads are not updated often even if the issue is solved from there side.

The basic security tips would suggest no particular stages of the verification process could be ever rendered on the public source.
That's right I'm not asking you to conduct the verification process in public but at least let us know why his account was blocked and why suddenly you blocked his account when the withdrawal was requested?  I wonder why all the security procedures come into picture when a debit is requested?

We'll be glad to notify the community about the resolved status of this case; just keep up with this thread.
Cool. I'll remove my feedback after the issue is resolved.

Please note that the account isn't blocked but withdrawals are temporarily suspended for security reasons as suspicious activity in the account has been detected. At the moment we are awaiting for all the necessary data to be provided by the user.

Happy to hear that the case is resolved.

Even if they return the money their abusive practices keep chattering their reputation. Asking for a notarized translation of the ID? Dont they know google translation? And forcing a video call after asking for a hand-held ID card photo? And as always without disclosing what facts determined their block of the account.

The verification procedure is a serious matter that requires full attention from our security department.
Reasons behind security procedures cannot be disclosed due to their nature. We protect our algorithms and strive to enhance the security of Freewallet to protect our users' funds. The case with OP has been resolved successfully with the collaboration from both sides. Smiley

Just to summarize the case and to make it more clear, in order to return the funds, the Freewallet team have requested the account owner in this case wanghenlen to provide ID, photo, some invoice and he has already done this.

Next step is to contact the user to verify the sent documents?

We are talking about a big amount here, I understand the Freewallet concerns. Nevertheless the owner should be able to withdraw his money anytime

BTW, here my personal experience with one Scandinavian bank. I forgot my password for my bank account, and when I called the support for recovery I went through questioning like, what we're my last payments around, how much salary I got on my last paycheck, etc, questions which can reveal a fraudster.

I really hope the case to be solved and the rightful owner to receive their funds.

Hello, thank you for making your point here.
We are doing everything to enable smooth and safe withdrawal for a rightful owner.

It's inconvenient. Why do you need Skype now?

We don't use skype.

How unreasonable it is. Everything you need to verify meets your needs.

I just use Freewallet for convenience.

Freewallet's step-by-step puzzlement is quite unreasonable to me.

Next step, do I need to go to your company personally?

Unfortunately, this step is a rare possibility in case there is a requirement from the security department for a final check and it is necessary to complete the verification procedure in your case to confirm the account ownership. The security procedure has been proved efficient so far in preventing illicit activities and hacking attempts in the past and we are happy to do our best to speed up the process with your collaboration.

We weren't aware that Skype is not available in China, let us know if there is an alternative app for video calls that is used in China, we will try to download it. Please let us know a convenient time by email and we will schedule the video call.

Thanks!

I can't accept your rude request once and for all.
You said hacking, where is hacking?
You are embarrassing our users, it is too disappointing.
You are stealing my USDT, please return my USDT quickly.

Dear customer,

No one (except you) can own the funds in your account and get access to your wallet. You can check that your funds are safely stored in your Freewallet account.

We would like to kindly remind you that we are still waiting for your answer on the ticket.

As you can see, we are fully committed to the quick resolution of your issue.

Thank you!

————————————————————————————Freewallet to me————————————————————————————————————————

Dear customer,

We offer you to make a Skype call with us on Monday at 11:30 AM.
Is this time convenient for you?
Our security department will ask you some questions about your funds and your account.
Please also prepare your documents (ID and bank statement).

————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————

This is ridiculous way of verification from Freewallet. Even after many attempts and providing Identity Verification documents by OP the case is not solved yet.

Next move is asking for a Skype call, which is totally wrong way of handling the situation. Crypto should not work like this, and OP should not be forced to video chat with strangers to receover his funds. This looks like an very unprofessional attempt form a famous crypto wallet.

I would not recommend anyone using a platform which asks for Skype Video Call verification to withdraw Personal funds.

Free wallet is a scam. They did the same thing to me about two years ago. Used it when I first started eth mining. mined about 2 eth when it was transferred out of my account to a user that had 10's of thousand of deposits coming in all from freewallets address. Tried the support ticket they told me the same BS i must have gotten a virus on my computer and some one stole my account or some crap. As I told them Kinda funny how none of my other wallets are comprised, and still to this day haven't been computer is still just as clean as it was back then. They are a bunch of scammers steer clear of that wallet for sure. I am pretty sure I even posted about it. I did and here is it. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30380854

Again steer clear of the scammers and their wallet!

Hello Gecox22, we are sorry that this situation took place, but your case is different and had nothing to do with KYC, and like you are saying in that message the amount was actually 0.1 eth. We have replied you back then that it looked like the access to your account was compromised (you received reset password message like it was mentioned in the thread).

We appreciate your patience and understanding. Withdrawals (including USDT) will operate normally as soon as we finish the verification, so our support team looks forward to your message.

Can you tell us on what basis you conduct an account have suspicious activity? And how did you prove that they really have suspicious activity? I think this verification is working backward. Before accusing them of suspicious activity, I expect services providers to provide the necessary evidence that supports their claim publicly (or at least to the subject).

Simply saying your account is suspicious, so we need your ID is out of my mind. Would you allow us to request the ID of the site operators/team?

Hello, due to security reasons, we are not able to disclose our procedures.
Not sure which ID you are asking. Our terms and conditions include necessary clauses.
Thank you.

Kindly stick with your support ticket, we'll advise you the best possible solutions.
Don't advise him the best possible solution, just give his money back! And that is the best possible solution. I instantly hate a service that wants to operate on bitcointalk but also don't want to keep their operations transparent. If you're taking a conversation away from Bitcointalk that means you're hiding something. Negative feedback left.

Thank you for your support, I also hope that he can return my USDT directly. I updated my post and I will keep updating in the future.

Thank you for your reply
I have missed the BTC growth and have already lost a lot.
My account is very secure, why do I need frequent authentication?
Please unfreeze my account as soon as possible, I need to work

Hi,

hello

I am pretty sure I saw other scam accusations about this wallet. My memory tells me they are proven to be a scam.

I wish you made a google search before you used them, OP. Just search  "freewallet scam" on google and see there are hundreds of threads...

Also leave a review here too so less people will get scammed in the future.

I have seen much of an diss-aggrement about the freewallet and there support team.

You should post proofs to your conversations with the support and also the transaction to which you are pointing so that the community here could atleast review it and act accordingly.

I have personally experienced some problems with there support. Once there was bit of an mistake in the transaction memo while I recieved a EOS transfer in my Freewallet account. I contacted the support via email, they replied to me and said would solve the issue. It was basically solved after some weeks and I got my transaction back but they charged around 10% of the total transaction as fees which did not satisfy me. From then I tried avoiding them.

This is the official Bitcointalk ID of the Freewallet: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/freewallet-1177176

If you could provide proper proofs about your abuse as I mentioned earlier the community would react in a better way. For now you lack the evidence her as per I see.
