As usual, you can count on me for the Romanian translation. I will try to do it in this weekend. In case I will have any trouble during the translation process I will PM you for further details.

My dear fillippone, the translation is (finally) done! Here it is: Securizarea Seed-ului cu Șaibe.

I am sorry for being (so) late (perhaps I took the habit of tardiness from Supreme Leader of Thick-Skinned ones?  Roll Eyes) but, at least I managed to finish. For amusement purposes, I can say that I still finished the translation during a weekend, as I wrote above. So the inconsistency is only regarding which weekend, but not also about doing it in a weekend Smiley

Excepting these, your topic, as usual, offers a lot of useful information! Congrats for writing it! I am more than pleased for having the honor to present it to Romanian side of the forum as well.

Thank you Ratimov for your work.

Your translations are great

Grazie!

in addition to that I am sure I will get a proofreading of my post for free! I am ready to edit out those double spaces and typos no one cares about!

Looool! If I'd charge 1 satoshi for each double space / missing dot at end of sentence etc. I'd be millionaire. Not satoshi millionaire, but BTC millionaire =)))

You might want to consider the italian post too? Wink

Yup, sure! No kidding, I'll do it.

I'm Nigerian, I'd love to help translate this in our Local board a great thread for all here and those to come in the future.
We do make good use of English, but speak vernacular ( Local Slangs ), so in short, I'm translating to pidgin.
Thanks X.

I have a new thread that might be worth translating, as it got a decent success:

Securing Your Seed Phrase with Washers

I already worked out the translation for the Italian Board: (actually the English version is the translation of the Italian one):
[GUIDA] Backup Fisico della propria SeedPhrase su rondelle

Since most of them are technical analyses, and I don't have knowledge of that. I won't take a risk in translating it. Because if I translate something that I don't understand. I will not be able to explain them and people won't understand me. If I can learn those things in future. I will try to contribute.

That’s the correct approach.
Everyone should contribute in their own way, without feeling “obliged” or “taking the risk” doing something.
Thank you very much for what you have done.

Thank you for your translation @naim027!
I just added the link section in the OP!
Keep up the good work!

Thank you again. So nice of you. I apologize for keeping the title the same. I just changed the title and here it is  "বিটকয়েনের ৫ টি রিসোর্স || যা জানা জরুরি". You can update it if you want.

I was trying to translate all of those into your eligible thread. But, look like I can't. Here is why, I think, To translate something, I should have knowledge about the specific field. Since most of them are technical analyses, and I don't have knowledge of that. I won't take a risk in translating it. Because if I translate something that I don't understand. I will not be able to explain them and people won't understand me. If I can learn those things in future. I will try to contribute. I saw a few people trying to translate the topic with help of GT. And they did it just to get some merits or just for a few activities. They Should Understand that you cannot explain something you don't understand.

Thanks again Smiley

@fillippone, I think This Guide will help a lot of newcomers and also intermediate-level people. Thank you very much you took the good initiative and allow people to Translate this Great guide for their local boards. If you visit the Local board often, You will see a lot of Questions raised by newbies. They ask a lot of things about bitcoin but the reality is most of the member doesn't reply to them just because they are newbies. This is true that when you will give a lot of effort to writing a good post and only newbies read that, You won't get merited. I think this is the only reason why newbies don't get their questions answer. If your board has few High-rank members, Then the case is a bit different. If you write a good post on the local board, Your Other good ranked local board mate will appreciate your post. But, If there are only a few people. Your post won't be appreciated. This is the reason why people don't contribute to their local board. I think Our Merit source Members should visit Local boards more Often and take a look.

Hi, I'm heavily interested in translating one of your topics to Arabic. The Arabic board has been relatively barren of quality posts for quite some time now. Whenever I get the chance, I'll let you know!

Nice,
just let me know if I can help you in any way.
For sure not with the translation, but if you have any doubt about the concepts I'll be more than happy to help!

Hehe that's a great term indeed Smiley

Please don't misunderstand me about the suggestion, -CryptoViking-, it was just a suggestion in case you (or others as well) have some difficulties with S2F topic. It was sort of heads-up that anyone trying to translate it can get some help from the medium articles contained inside the topic Smiley But of course, there is the chance for those very translations to not be the best ones, as it happened with "stock-to-flow" expression itself, in Croatian.

And yes, you are right about some terms which are used in other languages as they are in English. I remember that for the other topics I translated, while I was documenting the terms to see if they had Romanian equivalents, I reached some books used at the Romanian Academy for Economics, which is the most reputable university here. And some terms were used in English. Therefore I used them in the same way.

No, no worries at all m8.

I got what you meant fully and welcome you to share your suggestions and ideas any time. I just extrapolated my thoughts for the same reasons you are mentioning. So other people that will go for translations of the topics can see the examples and how it can be tricky.

From our last few posts people can clearly see that they need to dedicate time and investigate to ensure to honour their language, context of the articles, @fillippone style of writing to be able to deliver a noteworthy translation.

Thank you for your hard work with this translation.
We, all local members, really appreciate it.
I know from personal experience how difficult it is to translate professional texts from English to English and I congratulate you on your translation!

Thanks Dan, you're my man Cheesy

This one is for you, right of the bat,
Short and sweet, like a tiny beat.

I know you appreciate language and it's caveat,
both twists and turns, of your mother tongue.
By the way you write, it's your natural habitat,
You'll surely prefer it in a form of a song!  Grin Grin

Great haiku,  thank you.
It's first time in this forum that someone dedicated haiku to me,  thanks a lot!
I really enjoyed it 😀

This is exactly the reason why you need an human translator to do a good job and you cannot rely on automated software what would result in a...Gugltranzlejtorian language. Translation is a difficult task!

This killed me honestly  Grin Grin Grin

Great to see that the term is already taking a life of it's own  Grin

Maybe in the far future the origins of the term Gugltranzlejtorian will be traced back to us here on Bitcointalk forum  Grin

I almost forgot, for the history books, special thanks to @big_daddy  Wink
