I didn't know about it before, but i looked them up on forums after all this mess started that's why i said "again" since i found out it clearly wasn't there first time stealing money from people, as i said earlier i only picked this casino bc it was the top casino on askgamblers, and i had no idea askgamblers was a scam site as well either...so yeah I've learned a lot last few days.
Well sorry for your lost this is a perfect example of why we need to do some research before putting up some money on a gambling or even investment sites.
Good thing you found this site and you could now look for a good gambling sites that you could play on and please do some research before depositing some money to their site.
If you aren't so sure about the site and it doesn't have enough info you could always ask the forum about it and the members would surely give you some feed backs about what they would find on the site.

Yeah you can be sure i will be looking up any future sites I am going to play on, and use forums like this to ask around and check for casino histories.

I guess I've been lucky so far, its the first scam casino I've ran into since i started in 1997 with online gambling but lesson learned.

Just for clarification, you just used your son's email to reply right? And for the BitStarz account, you only have one registered on your IP? How come they say you broke the rule of welcome bonus more than once?

How much is your deposit? If you can afford to lose that, maybe you just need to move on. What matters here is, you post your experience to warn others. Sorry for your loss.

Yes I only used my sons email to reply, using one of he's old laptops and the windows live program is set up with sending out with he's email I do receive all mails on my own email though.

Luckily I didn't get to deposit much on that site, i only made around 200$ in deposits total, last deposit was 30$ i think, where i was lucky enough to win on monopoly live witch got me up to 4380$ that would have been really nice to get since its about what i get from 3 months in pensions so yeah that is a lot of money to me, but on the bright side i didn't lose much at this casino.

And yes that's the main reason I am making posts around the web to warn others so they don't run into the same thing.

That means you only have 1 single account on Bitstarz so we should now remove the IP issue here since the welcome bonus doesn't abuse as well but the site support still insists on the IP issue, right? Well then as you also mentioned after you offer them lots of options to prove that you are the only one who speaks to them, even doing a video call, they didn't bother now to reply to you and almost closed the ticket. Unprofessionally in my case.

My response here is solely based on how I look and understand the story. Don't like to be one-sided as we need Bitstarz's own response about this although, as I said, the site reputation doesn't seem to be good overall and honestly. Aside from that, I don't like the way their support is talking to you.

You have 2 options:

a) Continue to talk them nicely even how annoyed you are until your patience level reached its critical level
b) Accept that you are now unable to get that amount and move on

Yes i only have a single account with Bitstarz, my son had one with them as well but he closed it permanently before he ran into any issues with them so that's something at least, and no i haven't done any bonus abuse the winnings i got was after multiple deposits with no bonus at all as well, which i don't think any bonus hunters would do, i did receive the welcome bonus but don't see why that should be a problem.

I would continue to talk with them but right now its a one-way street where they don't want to reply on my emails, and I am not sure what else i can offer them, they already have proof of address that shows I am the one living here, i send them a picture of my drivers license and offered to do a video call to remove any doubts to who i am, and all is just getting ignored.

So yeah i have accepted the fact that i properly won't ever see a dime of my winnings, now i just want to warn others and hope people see posts like this before they go visit the casino as i did.

Since its clear that they are having shady behaviour since you won a decent amount then this discussion should goes to scam accusation and give them another red flag so you may not get anything in return but it will save other people from getting into the same trap again.

On top of breaking that rule, the rule of using the welcome bonus more than once on the same IP has been broken too.

And yes that's the main reason I am making posts around the web to warn others so they don't run into the same thing.

My side on this was on Bitstarz even though they have tons of things they are doing here to make their reputation down from this forum site, anyway, Bitstarz has said they can talk to you in the Danish language so why not go with that offer and trying to make the situation even worst by using your own son in a thing that is a gambling site, surely Bitstarz has seen through you that is why they surely don't trust you with this conversation and actually I don't trust you as well that you really are Poul Madsen an 80-year-old that is playing online casino but can not make his own email conversation with Bitstarz sorry but this is the thing I see with your problem Mr. Michael Madsen.

If you did read all the text I know there's a lot I did offer them to call me in danish right after he said they got danish speaking people, I even offered him to do a video call so he could see for him self who I am and it really is me he's talking to, but that offer got ignored.

i don't speak English I can read some and most I use translator for, same when typing in here I got a program on my browser that helps with spelling, if you belive me or not doesn't really matter much, i offered a video call so he could see me and see that i am the 78 years old man i claim to be, not 80...

Let say you are not lucky to get that money although you win that money. But they don't allow you to withdraw the money and they think that you are the same guy that already win and that guy tried to withdraw the money. In this case, I think you waste your time to ask them to send the money because they will not send any money to you. Just forget it, and try with the other gambling website.

I wonder why you select that site to gamble while you have so many recommended gambling site which has a good reputation among the gamblers? Well, yeah, Bitstarz is an old gambling website, but at least, you can see how good the review from other members here or you better choose the other website which I am sure that they will have good reputations.

I picked that site bc I was looking at askgamblers website, it shows them as the top site and most trusted casino, didn't think of looking askgamblers up first witch was a bad mistake since they are in the pockets of casinos, I tried to file a complaint with them and they rejected it with the reason that it was not a casino-related problem.....

The real issue seems to be using same IP to claim the welcome bonus twice. And though the support response looks harsh, it was mostly because they were already sure that it's the some who is pretending to be his father and using his credential to open an account. It's clearly a violation of the welcome bonus terms and you should be held responsible for that. If you were not comfortable with the terms of the casino, you should have not used them.

The problem is they are sure about I am not my self, but they refuse to make a video call to talk with me or even a phone call.

I do see the IP problem, the thing is IP changes another person can get my IP tomorrow never know when it changes since its not a pure static IP, but it still doesn't qualify as a break of there terms, i live in my apartment alone and I have never had any other accounts with bitstarz, my son has had one that he closed permanently last year, it might have been made on the same IP but that was back when this apartment was his, and ofc I got proof of all of this witch bitstarz also ignores i sent them proof of address witch is now in my name only, its the same if you move to a new place where they got internet as part of the apartment and the previous owner made an account using the same IP or if you just happen to receive the IP where ever you live since it's not static this could happen to anyone.

You can be sure i will never open another casino account where they use IP in there terms its just an easy out for the casino to not payout winnings.

Support representative should reply calmly because costumer is always right  . It also bring negative effect to thier casino because their costumer can report this matter on the admin or on the real owner of the site and worst can happen is that  these rude supports can be fired  . They don't want that to happen aren't they ? So if I were them id better start have my patience but anyway , the user here has also a mistake if ever he really wanted to abuse the site and it was a failed attempt due to his IP address  but using someone kyc is possible and can't be detected easily .

I don't know if it's even possible but I did send it all to curacao-egaming where they have their license, I have not heard from them yet but ofc I won't let it slide so easily, I don't believe i will see a dime of the winnings but that just adds fuel to me going forward.

And I don't do bonus abuse what so ever, I didn't get the winnings with a deposit where I got a bonus either, I got the welcome bonus and then I made multiple deposits without bonuses witch someone who is doing bonus abuses properly wouldn't do, I just want to play some games that i cant play on casinos with a danish license.

This is how gamble works! everything about Bitstarz is gambling even to send someone's winning funds is gambling. right now they gambled with you to not send your winning funds. all you need to do is don't stop nagging them and provide them with everything they asked for. I'm sure you have all of them since you're winning from their site is legit. They're playing with you right now and they see some hole that will make you lose these funds. don't surrender, it's your money now get it from them they need to give it to you.

I wish it was possible to get my winnings but its getting pretty clear to me they will do everything they can to not payout a dime, i have sent them a few mails where i again offer them to make a video call with me to prove without a doubt that i am who i say i am, but they are so far left unanswered.

Looks like their making many excuse from the call, emails and your son to avoid your funds to be withdrawn and gambling sites shouldn't restrict their customers from cashing out and it should not be mandatory to provide personal information just to transfer funds shows some red flags and in fact their team is also inactive from Bitcointalk. But the problem could be language barrier, better continue contacting them until you reach an agreement that they might understand.
considering that the site is just making reasons to Hold the money(or not really giving to him) but the thing is why did he not first ask if there is a danish speaking from the team so he need not to give His sons Phone number because this can be a way for them to use back to him in which they Did.
and with the Sites reputation?i don't think he will be gaining anything from them and consider this as a lesson learn.

The reason i didn't ask for Danish speaking person is bc i didn't think they would have one and i still don't believe they do have one that's why i offered them to call on my son's phone so he could be the translator between us, and as I've said before i offered them to do a video call with both me, my son and the casino which they didn't accept.

And your right i don't expect to get anything from them, but that won't stop me from sharing this experience with others.

You cant use your son's phone number let alone say it has anything to do with another person or their red alerts will be triggered of a fraud attempt. Which is sad I know but it is due to legal issues such as the age limit of who can use their site. No one of being underage can use any casino sites.

One account is enough if you want to gamble comfortably, and legitimacy of your account will serve as your key for a safe gambling. Don't you ever try to register another account because that will become to suspicious as the information should be legit to prevent being a fraud. Age limit is really necessary to secure the gambling platform to the minority as they shouldn't engage with that kind of activity. That's the importance of security in a certain gambling platform, for the customers to become easily noticeable and legit.

If he does not live there anymore this would set those alarms as well. Cause they start to suspect of multi accounting so to receive their signup bonuses twice which many casinos disallow any of their registered players from doing in the first place.

Multiple registration of account is prohibited in the first place as it is very unfair to other customers, they will have a lot of chance to gamble if they try to do that. This shouldn't be tolerated in any gambling platform not only in Bitstarz, but also in gambling casino where a lot of people are playing. It is really true that multiple registration of account is very suspicious and it is too obvious that the person who handle that isn't a legit user.

I absolutely agree that no one should make multiple accounts, in my case, there aren't multiple accounts, both me and my son play casinos online, so did my wife back when she was alive, all of us enjoy gambling both online and IRL, both me and my son has accounts on a lot of casinos and some of the same casinos and never had any issues with that, and don't see why there should be we are two different persons playing on there own.

Why would they risk their money on it and the thread says stealing money "again" so OP already know that bitstarz had done it before and OP still trust this site?

There are quite a few threads here that anyone can have as a reference before joining a site, especially a casino or gambling sportbook. There are persons in these threads who give their opinions and feedback regarding the site like for example if the site is serious, trustworthy and pays instantly are some of the options which define a good casino.Always review these threads before making important decisions.

As a habit, I definitely search every website that I have been dealing with money since the past. I especially read the complaints about it. Because complaints give an idea about most issues. Because some complaints actually show that the platform may be justified. In this case, if you had researched this website here or elsewhere before using it, you would not have encountered such problems.
i just don't get it because the Bitstartz has some issues and yet OP still try to use their service with those background.
though maybe OP did not expect he will win good money just to have issue.
The  Money He won is not that Big But enough for the company to prove how scammy they are because of just 4000$ they show what is the gambling site is all about.
I think OP needs to realize this and next time try to use legit gambling site that listed such this

Things are now getting messy for you. And if Bitstarz, which has a questionable reputation, is indeed trying to find a way to not pay you for your huge winning prize, they have already made some good grounds here. If the obstacle was only the language, it could have been ironed out more quickly as they say they can manage to switch to Danish. But then it slowly got more complicated from that. They are now making an issue of your phone, email, IP address, and possible violations of their terms. A good end is not in sight for you now. I'm sorry.

But just keep on communicating with them for possible resolution, even though their manager sounds a bit disrespectful to one of their patrons.

Ever since I saw the negative reviews about Bitstarz, I wouldn't want to use it or even just register in it. Anyways, typically I think it's a protocol for gambling sites to have background checks and verify that it's the actual person that is withdrawing. Maybe the account is hacked or something, but it's their way. For the most part, I think it has made it complicated for Bitstarz to handle it because of the different phones and emails that were contacted.

Please update us with the future happenings.
