As soon as a client begins to actively post complaints or files an official report of a crime, he immediately has a chance that his account will be unblocked
https://freewalletreviews.org/another-case-of-freewallet-kyc-scam/
After the victim mentioned in this text warned the administration of the wallet about his intention to file a police report and also posted negative reviews, the owners allowed him to withdraw his assets. In our opinion, this indicates one thing: the administration is afraid of publicity and prosecution. Therefore, we advise everyone who has encountered a similar problem to do the same: write complaints !

I am sorry! But my problem solved!!

Freewallet completed KYC verification and unblocked my account!!

I am sincerely glad that you managed to do this. But in my opinion, everything happened this way precisely because you did not remain silent, but began to actively publish complaints and negative comments. I often see that on Reddit a negative topic about Freewallet began to gain dozens of comments and thousands of views, after which the administration completed the verification. If there were no readers in the topic, the account remained frozen.

Now that you have solved your problem, I advise you to move off all your funds to a safe open source noncustodial wallet. This is more like a wake-up call to you on what could possibly happen at any time when you leave your funds in a custodial wallet

Tomorrow, Freewallet could just disappear or shutdown their wallet service, and you will never have any way of recovering your funds. Basically, your funds are at their mercy.

I am sorry! But my problem solved!!

Freewallet completed KYC verification and unblocked my account!!

All they needed was
1. Photo with note and passport
2. Photo of passport
3. Bank statement with registration
4. Photo and video of source of transactions to my wallet

If you have all this, it won't be a problem for you.
It took me 10 days

Thanks to the Freewallet team!

FREEWallet.org is SCAM!!

We have collected a lot of information about cases of deception of clients by the Freewallet administration. We also regularly submit crime reports to various authorities (an example can be seen in the added screenshots).

We understand that you are disappointed by what happened, but the only advice we can give you and other victims is not to give up and write complaints and statements to all possible authorities!

It looks like you have no better choice, mate, since the money locked up int the account is quite huge. I am afraid you are going to have to send them a photo of your passport plus other personal details if there's any chance that you will get back your money.
Yes, I agree with JeromeTash, there's no better choice then sending them your phone and your passport details because they're asking that as excuse to show they want to complete KYC and that's what you should do OP.
I hope they will release that money, or this scammer will ask another documents from OP or will give another reasons not to accept your submitted docs thus hostaging OP's funds is there very motive, knowing its not just hundred of dollars. Well, i hope i'm not wrong, but it's there own way to just like they always do in the past.

The amount of Bitcoin that you have on that wallet is quite high in today's dollar amount and that's why I also suggest you to complete your KYC details and if they allow you to withdraw the money after that then you'll be lucky.

If you ever get back access to your account, you must withdraw all of it and transfer it to a secure noncustodial open source wallet where they will never block your account or ask for KYC verification.

Freewallet has been inconveniencing and scamming users for years. Even Elon Musk was one of their victims at one time. I have no idea how you missed out all the warnings online before opening an account with them

The amount you have in there is so huge I wonder you had to pick a custodial wallet like Freewallet among all the much better available options. Did you try to talk their support? What stupid excuse did they give you?

Not only that, they also make money from withdrawal charges. The wallet is a custodial wallet and totally centralized. Many people do not know using a custodial wallet is not good because they trust someone with their coins and they do not have the full control over their coins. The wallet developers have the full control because they have the private keys if the coins that their customers are having on the wallet.

That is fact, freewallet have a highly suspicious fees that discourages anyone regardless of how much money you have in that wallet, and also in addition, witdrwal from freewallet take long period of time before their get deposited to your wallet even after from the wallet you transaction is already marked successful.

I remember when I use that wallet, after I was deducted high fees, it still take almost 3 to 4 working days to get my transaction approved, this make them not fit to be a wallet for emergency which is not good.

@rusmac
It is better you use a reputable opens source noncustodial wallet instead so you will have full control over your coins. Few among the reputed ones are Electrum, Sparrow and Bluewallet for bitcoin-only. Unstoppable for multicoins.
