I would start by commending you for taking out time to compile a robust resources for the community. Well-done.

I have a suggestion for a better organisations of these resources and materials.
There should be a categorisation of this materials based on various subjects. This is what I mean;
1. Mining threads should be categorized
2. Wallets threads should be categorized.
3. Pishing threads should be categorized.
3. Exchange threads should be categorized.

This will help people to easily find resources based on such system of categorization.

Anyway, there's still a way to shorten the time spend finding the topic in your thread by clicking the browser's settings then find in page or CTRL + F shortcut key.

Yes, you are right. The user who is searching for a particular topic can copy the topic(CTRL-C) and search by CTRL-F and CTRL-V. Also, he can search with the keyword(ex: bitcoin, wallet, etc), with that he can easily find the topic.

Thanks for your suggestion @nakamura12. The list contains mixture of all the topics. I agree that it would look better if I separate the topics but a lot of effort is required to do that. Next time I will keep your suggestion in mind and try to segregate the topics.
Your welcome. Yes, your list contains mixture topics and when someone would like to find a certain topic can't be seen faster to be able to spend more time learning rather than searching. Anyway, there's still a way to shorten the time spend finding the topic in your thread by clicking the browser's settings then find in page or CTRL + F shortcut key.

...I have realised lately that there are many important threads which we are missing out in this forum. There should be some method or feature which should make the visibility of these threads on top...

Fully agree with you OP that many great threads are forgotten and buried under a ton of other spammy meaningless threads or supermegathreads, which turned out to be a spam contest finally.

...There should be some method or feature which should make the visibility of these threads on top...

Again I agree with you that something should be done but this is not so easy and I am sure if there was any way to this, then it would be already implemented.

I thought about this a couple of times and maybe now when we have a merit system something can be done with the use of merit statistics and forum bots to scrap the best threads. Still, all older threads with every new week are harder to find and I don't think that somebody is searching for them to award with merits.

We have so much knowledge on the forum which is so hard to find. OP kudos for you, for trying to do something about it, so that the best threads do not disappear, like all the others from years ago.

Try also to chech this thread of mine created months ago.
It is about for every passwords we use online, a thread about how strong passwords we are using.
[GUIDE] How to Create a Strong/Secure Password

Nice topic. Included in the list.

Determining what is an important topic is pretty subjective of course, and thematic in the sense that people favour reading one type of content over other. List such as the one in the OP can help to detect some very relevant threads, although maintaining it is subject to spending quite a bit of time browsing around.

Merits as we know is an indicator (but not an infallible one) of threads that might be interesting. Not all interesting threads are merited, or at least not necessarily in large amounts, but even so, those that are have probably got something on the edge for them.

To that effect, you may at some point use this: https://public.tableau.com/shared/7SF7Q3DJD?:display_count=yes&:origin=viz_share_link
The third column shown (Top Merited Thread Ranking) displays the top merited threads (sum of all merits awarded within the thread, to any post). The list is logically very extensive, but you can use the filters to:

- Delimit the timeframe (displays threads that have received within that timeframe). Just move the slider on the date filter, click on a date to use the calendar, or type over the date itself.

- Delimit the list to a specific section/subsection (i.e. Bitcoin Discussion only, Economics, etc.)

If you click on a thread title from the list, you’ll get a pop-up that takes you to the OP within the thread (follow the “Go to post within thread” link).

Note: Data as of Friday 06/09/2019 – should be updated this evening or tomorrow at some point with the inclusion of this week’s data.

Thanks for the suggestion and the tool to check the top merited threads. It helps me a lot to find the good topics. Also, I am listing the topics which are really good and important. I am not just checking the merits on the thread.

Almost everyone are missing out the useful topic on this thread regularly. The reason been that hundreds of topics are created on daily basis and it do appear on the first page. The more new topics are created daily, the old topics move backwards to other pages, which some users find it hard to read and post on

Yes, you are right. That is the reason I created this topic. Even I was missing out many important topics and was thinking how to bring all the important topics at one place. Later I listed a few important topics and created this thread. I regularly update this thread with the list of useful topics. This will help the users who are new to this forum.

Good initiative but you will need some manual work in order to bookmark your favorite topics/posts, I use this method because it provides an easier solution:

 - Download/Install Greasemonkey for Firefox or Tampermonkey Chrome.
 - Go to ----> BitcoinTalk++ script - v0.2.96 and install userscript.
 - After downloading and installing you will see a window like this[1], in front of any topic.
 - Click "Add to bookmarks"
 - you will find it "that topic" blow any topics.

Nice article about Bitcointalk Index thread. I have included it in my list. Thank you!

Why not focus on a single thread instead? The reason is, for let says the thread mentioned in the first reply, the thread started there is active and other users are contributing some links there too. You can help him instead OP so that we are only focused on a single thread.
Maybe when the time that OP of that thread is not active anymore, then you can consider taking over. This thread might end up not being an active too.

I don't know what's the qualification for a sticky thread so for now, let's focus bumping a single thread instead.

I agree but the OP thread contains list of topics that are created before June 2019 and it contains the list of all the threads on different sections. My focus is to list the latest topics which are useful to beginners. Also, I will try to update it regularly and include more topics.

There is this topic too by @shorena: [Overview] The one thread to link them all
It's an old topic but along side LoyceV's thread of links. The information in both is very valuable.

Good topic to link threads of different forum section.

I would also advise beginners and everyone else to test their knowledge
and learn how to protect from Phishing attacks with simple Quizzes
[LEARN] Phishing Quizzes - Beginners & Experts

Nice thread too! I have added it.

I would advice the other lower ranking members to see if the thread is helpful or informative on your part then what you just need to do is to bookmark those threads so that you don't come searching for it back again. You can even organize your bookmarks with your browser and it really helps to boost your efficiency when you have an organized bookmark. Here is a quick guide created by lobcmt2 on how you can use your browser to have a well organize bookmark portfolio.

Very good Idea! I agree bookmarking the useful topics will help to find it very easily. I wonder this feature should be included within the "Bitcointalk forum" where the users can store there bookmarks in their profile. It will be very useful. If they find any topic useful, they can immediately bookmark it and store it in one place.

I am using the Bitcoin forum from quiet a few days and I felt many of them are missing out the useful and important topics on this forum.
Good summary, its easy to forgot about some good/older threads if they are not "refreshed" in other words noone posting in them anymore.
Such topic have low chance to beign read by people even if it have exceptional quality and is very useful.

I am using the Bitcoin forum from quiet a few days and I felt many of them are missing out the useful and important topics on this forum. Why do people usually check the threads that are on the 1st page of any Bitcointalk section and comment on those threads only. Even I have realised lately that there are many important threads which we are missing out in this forum. Some of the useful threads which are important and I felt that we are missing out are:
